9 - Hate at college

The same evening after dinner when Lana was heading towards her room, Alpha Zaro stopped her to talk about something. “Are you free for a few minutes, kiddo?” Standing in the empty corridor, Lana couldn’t refuse when the alpha had been doing so much for her.

“Yes, yes.” She took smaller steps towards the tall burly man who was in his fifties but still looked great for his age. “Is everything alright?” Lana hadn’t been addressing him as dad or even uncle. The alpha smiled and head patted her, while gesturing towards his study.

As soon as they both entered the room, the alpha shut the door and asked Lana to sit. The awkwardness in the atmosphere had been visible as she needed time to adjust. “I am well aware that you are trying your best to fit in, Lana.” The alpha started to speak to address her issues.

“Being in a new pack, new city and an absolutely new home is certainly a hard thing. You need time to adjust and adapt, take all you need and want.” After hearing how his sons had been treating Lana, the alpha wished to give her some reassurance.

Since the room was sound proof and none of the triplets or any other wolf in the house could hear them. The alpha made a clever choice and was willing to do anything to make Lana feel at home. He stretched his arm and placed his hand over hers with a soft smile.

“But just remember, you are my daughter too. If anybody dares to offend, bully or threaten you, just inform me.” He patted his palm over Lana’s, who grew sentimental with the alpha’s all fatherly speech. “Even if the offenders are my sons.” Lana was shocked at his words.

She lifted her head and stared at the alpha, who immediately knew that his hunch was correct. “But they haven’t been troubling me.” Lana bluntly lied with a trembling tone, she knew that among the three she had to avoid Raihan the most. Arrogant one!

Alpha Zaro smiled and seated himself in the chair, his back tucked while Lana had been sitting opposite to him. “You wouldn’t be taking their side if they hadn’t. I know my sons, Lana. Since you are joining their college, I’m just reassuring you just how your father would have.”

Lana became emotional once again upon the alpha’s behaviour. She knew her mother would have chosen the best man for herself. But what she never expected was Alpha Zaro being a capable father. As much as she despised the triplets, the alpha was in her good books.

“Yes, I understood.” Alpha Zaro stood up and so did Lana as both walked to the door. The alpha opened the door for her with a smile and Lana took her leave. “Goodnight!” Knowing that she had to attend college tomorrow after a nice sleep.

Lana could not sleep at night acknowledging that if this kept on going then she won’t be able to leave the city. She switched her sides while thinking about what to do next. There was no other wise option at that time, other than attending college of the triplets.

Just like that the morning arrived and Lana heard her mother knocking on the door. Starting her day with her kisses, after a long time, Lana smiled assuming that maybe the morning was not that bad. “Hurry up, you don’t want to be late on your first day.” Of course!

After being dressed up she did not have time to take a few bites. That’s why her mother shoved a few sandwiches into her hand. Just like her every other nightmare she had to ride with the triplets to college. Once again, in the same vehicle. Awkwardness at peak.

Just like the other day Raihan was driving with Sahan in the front. Meanwhile, Zuhan was at the back with Lana, who silently munched on her bread sandwich. Raihan kept stealing a few glances at her without getting caught. He, himself, had no clue why seeing her made him restless.

“This girl has no shame. Really!” Raihan glanced at her and unintentionally his eyes travelled down at Lana’s lips. He couldn’t believe himself for staring and shook his head. Meanwhile, Sahan was immersed in his phone and Zuhan took a quick power nap.

They reached the college premises after a quiet ride. Raihan dropped them all in front of the college gate to park the vehicle. “Argh! I hate mondays!” Zuhan groaned while yawning, he took his leave imminently after ignoring the rest. Having a painting session early in the morning could be hectic.

“Um, where is my class?” Lana asked upon sensing plenty of eyes darted at her with hatred and confusion. Since the triplets were the famous trio it was obvious that unintentionally Lana incurred wrath. A girl with them was an offensive crime!

“Don’t know. Don’t care. Find it yourself.” Sahan was about to reply when Raihan walked up to them from behind. His disrespectful tone did not go unnoticed from Lana. Raihan dragged his brother towards the class, leaving her in the midst of the chaos.

Lana had no other choice but to head towards the student affairs office. Walking through the arcades she could potentially see everyone staring at her. She was the elephant in the room, the one whom everyone hated for sole one reason. The triplets! Laan somewhat had the idea why it was happening.

After all, they were the dream of every girl. And every single one of them wanted to get laid with them. Coming with them to the college was a bad idea, she made enemies on her day one without even trying. Lana clutched her bag tighter and walked faster. Of course, everyone wished to avoid bullying.

Entering the room she immediately closed the door behind her. Lana took a deep breath with eyes shut when a male voice brought her back. “Are you alright, miss?” She snapped open her eyes only to see a handsome guy in front of her holding a book.
