LOGIN“Leave me. Let me go,” Amelia's screams continued to resonate in that dark forest but ignoring them completely, he continued to walk and then he made her sit on the top of a horse.
Climbing on the horse, he settled behind her. “No…leave me. I said…” he grabbed her both hands which she had been using to hit him, nonstop. “That’s enough,” he uttered to her, irritated with her stubbornness. He was not a man with much patience. Amelia glared at him. In order to protect herself from him, she bit his palm aggressively to free her hands from his hold, which made him scowl. After making sure to dig her sharp teeth against his palm, Amelia took her head upward and looked at him, angrily, but all she found on his face was an irked look. “You seem to love biting me, don’t you?” He grabbed her nape, catching her off guard. He pulled her face closer to his, tangling their breathings and making her clutch the front of his clothes to maintain her balance on the horse. “But do you know what will happen if I bite you, princess?” The corner of his mouth tugged upward as he breathed out those words to her because they both knew what would happen if he would dig his brutally sharp canines against her softly gentle skin. Amelia clenched her jaw. “I know what will happen,” she continued attempting to push him away from her. He lifted his one brow at her. “But if I am already going to die tonight then you will pay for this too,” she spat at him through grinded teeth. He grinned. He had never seen something so brave yet so naive. She knew he was going to kill her but yet she was busy triggering him more and more, instead of begging him to let go of her life. This she-wolf was really different and unique. “So you are really not afraid of dying tonight?” He asked her in a whispering tone. Amelia continued to glare at him fearlessly, but suddenly when he clutched a fist of her hair and she saw his sharp canines coming out, she teared up. He pushed his mouth closer to her neck but just as his canines merely grazed against her skin, he heard a soft sob breaking out of her mouth. Taking his gaze upward, he looked at her face and saw her eyes were tightly closed. Tears were rolling down from the corner of her eyes, which made him grin again. He left her hair. “What happened? Now scared of dying, my wolf princess?” He whispered in her ear, gently caressing her earlobe with his canines. Amelia had turned so terrified that she instantly tried to jump down from the horse, but grabbing her waist, he pressed her tightly against his own chest. “I hate defiance, princess….so don't make me take even the remaining hours of your precious life from you,” he warned her, now with a dark look on his face. Amelia looked into his pale-crimson eyes, feeling like something inside her own body twisting under his perilous gaze. She didn't know what was happening to her and what was now going to happen to her, so she slowly lowered her glossy eyes and stopped protesting. She was feeling too exhausted now, both mentally and physically because what else had left in her life for her, except to accept her death? Her own mate had betrayed her and rejected her, and that man had found her who wanted nothing but to kill her, so what else could she fight for now? She should give up. “That's like a good princess,” he whispered in her ear, observing her defeated look, and finding her finally silent, he pulled the reins and signalled the horse with his legs, which immediately started running at his command. He felt her tightly holding onto his clothes and shoving herself deeper in his body as the horse started running faster. So she was scared of horse riding? Smirking, he intentionally sped up the pace of the horse, making it run at a more rapid pace. Amelia tightly shut eyes and ended up burying her face in his chest. She was terrified of horse riding because she had once fallen from a horse in her childhood and since then, she had never even gone closer to horses ever again. His strong smell of pines and cedar immediately started calming her down. Her fear started fading and relaxation washed over her. Her tensed body loosened up and she still had no idea how and why. She hadn't felt this serenity even in the arms of Jared, who was her destined mate, then why with him? What was happening? Pulling the reins, he halted the horse right in front of the main entrance of the Lycans royal castle. The guards at the entrance bowed at him. Trailing his gaze down, he looked at her and found her still asleep against his chest. The werewolf princess fell asleep on his chest in the middle of their journey here because she seemed too afraid and exhausted of everything, especially him. Grinning, he tried to wake her up but she snuggled her face more into his neck. This she-wolf seemed to turn herself extra comfortable in his embrace. Stepping down from the horse, he also pulled her down and collected her in his embrace. To his utter surprise, she still didn't wake up from her sleep and that was where he realised she was burning. Her body felt extremely hot and he somehow already knew why. Holding her in his arms, he entered the castle. “Callum….” His feet paused from proceeding further, hearing that familiar voice. He turned around and found his aunt, Sharon, standing in front of him. He noticed how his aunt's eyes widened when they fell over Amelia in his embrace. “Who is she and why have you taken her here?” Sharon dashed towards him and asked him, shocked, but when she looked at Amelia from closely, her gaze broadened in horror. “Callum, she is….” “Yes….she is that werewolf princess,” he completed his aunt's words while taking his eyes down to look at Amelia's completely calm face. His words appalled his aunt even more. “But how did you find her? Didn't she used to live in the human world? How did you recognise her?” Sharon asked him, still extremely shocked and worried. She still couldn't believe that Callum had finally found that werewolf princess, whom their entire Lycan kingdom had been trying to find for years. He remained quiet for a moment and just stared at Amelia's closed eyes. “She came back to celebrate her mate's birthday whom she eventually rejected today,” his reply startled Sharon even more. “And after rejecting him, she left his pack and ended up getting inside that forest where I was already searching for her,” he uttered, still keeping his eyes on Amelia. “But how do you know about all of this?” His aunt's question finally made him look away from Amelia. “I have my ways,” he replied, peering at his aunt, and then attempted to walk away from there. “Where are you taking her now? You know that your father is not present in the castle at this moment,” she reminded him. His feet paused. “I can play a little with this wolf princess till my father won't return….” He trailed his eyes back at Amelia again and grinned wickedly. “After that, I will gladly end her life to break that f*cking curse,” saying that he took Amelia away from there. “Callum….” Sharon tried to stop him but he had already left. Terror washed over Sharon because she knew how cruel Callum could be, especially for that 21 years old werewolf princess, Amelia, whom he had been searching for like an insane, all these years. Now no one and nothing could shield the Werewolf Princess from that barbaric Lycan Prince tonight.“The bride is here….” Nevan's ears heard those whispers of the people around him, whereas his eyes were already fixed forward to see that specific person, and there she was. His beautiful bride. His beguiling mate. His favourite human. His enchantress. His innocent troublemaker. His Anisia. Standing at the altar, the Lycan Prince watched his bride walking down the aisle, wearing a flowing white gown. Her face was hidden under a veil whereas she was holding a beautiful bouquet of white lilies in her hand as she knew they were his favourite. His eyes got stuck at her. He had never seen someone or something so breathtaking as her. He had never felt this kind of allure ever in his life before but the moment she had entered his life, he knew this allure was going to illuminate the darkness inside his own heart and it did. She brightened up that gloominess inside him, which had scared him all his life but she had just not only held his hand in that darkness but she had also taken hi
“Can't I also stay with that loved one of mine without having to lose my other loved ones? Because I don't want to lose any of them,” hearing her, his chest tightened. Nero witnessed her slowly forwarding her hands towards him where she held his palm.“It's not a pity…. it's care, Nero. I care about you and your pain a lot,” he wordlessly listened to her.“And I don't want to see you hurt either because I don't know if I should call it love or not because I have never even fallen in love with someone, but your pain hurts me a lot. It hurts me so much that the second Prince Nevan and Anisia told me about your pain and loneliness, I couldn't hold myself back anymore and came here for you,” her watery eyes remained fixed at his face.“And it's not a pity for you or your pain because it started hurting me a lot the second they told me about your pain. I could not bear it. I….I could not,” shattering down into tears again, Mindy wrapped her arms around him and buried herself in his body as
She lied? Nero was frozen to know about this. He could not make himself comprehend this. Why would she lie to him regarding something like this?“It's not true. I don't have a boyfriend,” he heard her whimpering voice telling him, which befuddled him more. Slowly turning around, he looked at her and found her keeping her eyes grounded. Tears were streaming down from her eyes. Her palms were still tightly closed. She was looking, both afraid and anxious, and this had started worrying him now.“Look at me,” he said to her. His tone was gentle and polite, which made her slowly take her head upward. His heart ached, seeing that pain in her glossy eyes, which were already telling him that it was just not only fear, something was hurting her too and it was hurting her more than it was scaring her, but what was it?“I am sorry for lying,” she teared up more. Nero sighed. He didn't know what to do at that moment to calm her down. He still couldn't properly understand anything.“Mindy, calm do
His grey eyes found those green eyes staring at him which were filled with tears and even an extreme amount of fear, especially by seeing his raised sword. Her hands were tightly clenched. The owner of those green eyes was looking petrified, which made Nero instantly take his sword down, but his own eyes still couldn't believe that they were seeing that person in front of him, again. Was he hallucinating? Or how could she be here? How could his mate be here whom he had lost before he even got to call her as his?Just how?Nero blinked, still processing everything. But when she didn't fade from his eyes, he understood it was not his dream. She was really standing in front of him. She was real, but the question here was…how did she come here and did she remember him as her memories had been completely removed the second she stepped out of their world?Did she remember him?“What are you doing here?” He asked her, who just swallowed hard at his question. More tears filled her eyes but no
PRESENT TIME“Yes, Mindy is my mate and I have always waited for my mate to live my life with,” Nero said to Nevan who was standing beside him and was silently listening to him.Turning his head around, Nero looked at Nevan.“But I don't want to be selfish with her. I can never be selfish with her,” he spoke out. Pain was brimming in his whole demeanour which Nevan clearly understood.“She loves someone else, so I want her to be happy with her love rather than to endure her life here with me. Her happiness means everything to me,” Nero uttered. Yes, he had always wished to live his life with his mate but he didn't want it at the cost of his mate's happiness because what was the point of even wanting something which you were going to have at the price of its destruction? She loved someone else and he wanted her to have her love in her life, because he didn't want her to suffer that pain which he had been enduring now after losing her.“This pain of loneliness is unbearable and I don't w
Hearing Nero calling her beautiful, a soft hue appeared on Mindy's face at his words but she kept her expression neutral in front of him.“Thank you,” she thanked him, slowly taking her head down, feeling a bit timid under his authoritative presence. This man indeed looked and seemed extremely dominating and intimidating to her, but she also knew he had a soft side which he had shown to her, and she herself didn't even know why.Why had he shown his gentle side to her when she had never witnessed him revealing it in front of anyone else? Why was this special treatment towards her? Was it because she was their guest or was the reason something else?Only if she knew. When Mindy was busy dealing with those thoughts inside her mind, Nero's eyes took a complete overview of his mate where his gaze refused to get away from her because she was looking ethereal. For his eyes, his mate was the most beautiful person he had ever seen in his life, whereas for his heart, she was the most beautifu
Amelia had kept her eyes tightly shut while she had firmly buried her face in his chest because she was too scared to take her head out and feel the adrenaline on the horse ride. This man behind her was her only hope for survival, so she was holding onto him like he was her life. Those crimson eyes
“Come here, Princess Amelia,” Amelia swallowed, hearing Keagan. Gathering all her courage, she walked towards that woman, whose eyes she could still feel on her.“It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Morgana,” Amelia uttered while slightly lowering her head in front of her, respectfully. Her palms wer
Terrified, Amelia gazed into those glowing red eyes which had glistened up her own eyes with tears, but it was until she witnessed that person to step closer to her and the moon light to fall over his face. Her pounding heart finally found its peace as soon as her eyes got to see the owner of those
After taking Amelia inside her room, Callum placed her down on the bed. She was still looking extremely terrified and even exhausted now. Her body had already started weakening with all the dread built up inside her mind and heart. “Place them on the bed and leave from here,” Callum commanded the
