After several minutes had passed, Damian walked over to the countertop and began pouring himself a cup of coffee. While drinking his coffee, Damian glanced around the room. His eyes fell upon a large pile of laundry on the floor, consisting of multiple colours which ranged from white to pink. There was also a pair of jeans strewn across the floor along with a shirt. A frown formed on Damian's forehead when he noticed the sight before him. He narrowed his eyes slightly, wondering why Celine would leave her clothing lying scattered around the place. He guessed that she had been planning to wash the clothes at some point. But it was clear to him that she hadn't done so, as he noticed that she had forgotten to pick up her discarded clothing from the floor. "Damian."Damian flinched slightly, startled by Celine's voice. He slowly turned around to look at Celine who was standing at the entrance of the living room. Her face was slightly flushed, indicating that she had just woken up. "Um
"Why did you decide to forgive me?" Celine questioned softly."Because you have suffered enough. And... You mean a lot to me.""But I caused you so much pain." Celine reminded him. "And after I left you, you were crying.""It wasn't your fault." Damian responded without hesitation. "I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I shouldn't have told you that I loved you. You didn't know what was happening.""You're right." Celine acknowledged. "However, I'm still sorry.""I know." Damian said with a small smile. "Now, shall we go out and get dinner?""Sure." Celine answered. "Let me just grab my jacket.""Don't forget your purse." Damian informed her. "Take your bag too. Just make sure that your purse isn't hanging out the side.""Okay." Celine uttered, grabbing her purse. They then made their way downstairs and towards the dining room. Once they reached the dining room, they both stopped in their tracks as they realised that the table was full of food. A
"How was dinner?" Damian asked her."It was great, thank you." Celine replied with a smile."No problem." Damian responded, giving her a small peck on the lips. "Do you want dessert?""Yes, I do. Thank you."Damian then rose from the table and made his way towards the kitchen. He returned shortly afterwards with two desserts in his hands. Both desserts consisted of cheesecake, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate cake. Upon reaching the dining table, he set the dessert down on the table and sat next to Celine. Before he could start eating, Celine reached out and grabbed Damian's free hand."Can I have some first?" She requested.Damian glanced at her before nodding his head in response."Of course."After receiving the dessert, Celine dug into it and moaned quietly as she tasted the ice cream. It didn't take long before she had finished all of the ice cream and was now licking her fingers. When Damian had finished his dessert, Celine placed her hands on top of his, intertwining their fi
After hearing Celine's suggestion, Damian began thinking about whether it was a good idea or not. On one hand, he wanted to spend time with Celine more than anything else in the world, but at the same time, he was worried because he hadn't done much with her lately. While it was true that both of them had been busy, Damian knew that Celine was missing out on many things due to the situation regarding his mother, and while he would love to take Celine out for a relaxing day, he knew that there was bound to be a reason why his mother wants to meet her, and he was determined to figure it out."Are you sure, baby?" Damian asked her cautiously."Yes." Celine replied."Fine." Damian replied, nodding his head lightly. "But we can stay at home if you want.""We can stay here." Celine said with a bright smile."Alright then. Let me just pack some swimwear and we can leave. Do you need me to get your bag for you?" Damian asked."No, it's ok. I've already packed mine earlier." Celine replied w
"So... do you wanna go swimming now?" Celine questioned coyly with a playful smirk on her face."Actually…" Damian trailed off. "There is one thing I'd like to do first...""Oh? What's that?" Celine questioned curiously.Celine could feel butterflies fluttering inside of her stomach, as she looked at Damian expectantly, awaiting whatever he was going to ask her. After a few moments of silence, Damian cleared his throat slightly and continued speaking."If it isn't too much trouble, may we spend the rest of the afternoon here? We've only come here for one day and I just wanted to enjoy it alone with you for a couple of hours." Damian requested."Of course we can spend the day here. Whatever you want, baby." Celine assured him, a smile forming on her face."Thank you." Damian muttered in gratitude. He then leaned forward and pecked Celine's lips one last time before getting out of the car. After taking a deep breath, Damian then headed towards the passenger door of the carriage, openin
Damian then proceeded to lay the roses down on the table beside her before sitting down beside Celine. He then leaned over and gently caressed the side of her face, leaning closer towards Celine as he gazed lovingly into her eyes. Celine's eyes widened as a blush formed on her cheeks, causing her to avert her gaze shyly, blushing slightly. When Celine realized what had happened, Damian couldn't help but chuckle, causing Celine to glance back at him. She gave him a small pouty expression, causing Damian to chuckle even more. Soon enough, they both burst out laughing, causing them both to lean forwards and rest their foreheads against each other. After a few moments of silent laughter, Celine and Damian regained their composure."So, do you like the roses?" Damian asked quietly, smirking slightly."Of course I do, you dork." Celine giggled. "How could anyone not like you?""And how would you know I'm dorky?" Damian teased."The fact that you bought the entire garden just for me is pr
"Sounds good to me." Celine nodded.Damian opened one of the boxes, revealing an antique watch which read 11:59am on its cover."Wow…that looks great." Damian exclaimed. "Where did you find this?""I found it in the basement." Celine revealed. "It belonged to my dad. Apparently, he got it for my mother when he met her on a tour of Europe. He showed it to her when he visited England.""It must've been beautiful." Damian commented, admiring the watch."Yes, it was. My father loved wearing it, so much so that he never bothered to take it off, even though it must've been getting worn down by years of being exposed to the elements." Celine told him. "He kept it locked away in the cellar underneath our house, along with all our other important belongings.""He sounds like a very lucky man to have someone who loves him dearly like your mom." Damian complimented Celine. "I wish mine had cared about me like that.""My parents did care about you." Celine pointed out. "They just didn't unde
Damian chuckled slightly, leaning forwards and pressing their lips together. While it was just a quick kiss, Celine enjoyed it nonetheless. After the kiss ended, Celine rested her forehead against Damian's shoulder before resting her hands tightly onto Damian's back. For a few moments, there was only silence between the pair before Damian spoke up."I missed you…" Damian muttered quietly."I missed you too…" Celine whispered back. "And I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner about how I felt. I know that it probably hurt you to hear that, and I'm so sorry that I put you through that.""Don't be sorry, baby girl." Damian replied gently. "It's alright. I'm glad that you've told me now and that you're no longer afraid to open up to me. I promise that I won't make you feel ashamed or scared of telling me things anymore. I'll always be there for you.""I know. That's exactly what I was hoping you'd say." Celine smiled, placing a soft kiss onto his neck."I love you so much…" Damian murmured.
