Back at the pack, the Alpha brothers had gathered one more time in the morning, prepared to search for Alyssa again.

“Has Ingrid gone back home?” Reynold asked Reece to confirm.

“Yes, she has. The carriage already took her back home.”

“Much better. I can’t have her waiting here all because some brat decided to play hide and seek.” Reynold spoke, looking towards the left with squinted eyes.

“So, what do we do next? Where have we not checked here?” Reece asked, then removed his hands from his pockets.

“Uhm… There is just one last place we haven’t checked. Follow me.” Reynold urged his brothers and they all followed his lead.

They were all fueled by the anger of Alyssa disappearing when her disappearance only troubled their hearts more.
