Chapter 13 II

Let’s do a brain check. I’m going to state the facts and then I’ll lay down my theories as we go on.

Alicia is the groups head. She’s very controlling and Lilly just seems to do her every bidding. She also has a thing for me and I’m guessing by the end of the night, Lilly would have to leave her pursuit for me and let Alicia take over.

Lilly isn’t to harmless either, it seems she has her own raging demons and she takes it out in people who are lower than her. 

Now these are my theories 

1. This date has been planned out by Alicia and she purposefully attacked us while we were eating

2. Sadly I am un-attracted to either one of them and I don’t think I can think of a relationship with these girls.

3. It seems that Lilly is the more powerful one in the group since she’s the Senator’s daughter. The others despite having rich parents, they don’t compare to her. (I found this one out when we entered the bar)

Which makes me wonder why Lilly would let these people manipulate her when it should be the other way around.

With the heavy music blasting through the speakers and the neon lights dancing around, The club was already active with sweaty people on the dance floor and liquor spilled on the floors. Well this is the first and only time you’ll hear me say I don’t like a club. I actually hate it here and I’m now reminiscing Jerry in his PJ’s watching a movie. 

I stared down at the dance floor and the girls were rocking their bodies with strangers. But I can’t find Lilly

Just as I was about to stand up and look for her, I gently tap brought my attention to someone beside me

“Why aren’t you down there?” I asked 

“I don’t dance” Lilly smiled as she sipped her drink. Thank God it’s not alcohol, I can’t deal with drunk people, normally I’m the drunk one in the party

“Look, I know you’re mad because I shouted at that waiter and I just want to say I’m sorry” 

“Who told you I was mad?” I raised a brow

“No one, even though you spoke calmly, your jaw clenched and for the first time your eyes actually weren’t all kind and gentle” 

“Hmmm… I thought I had my facial impression on check when I’m angry” 

“Its on check. Like, it happened in a split second, even the others didn’t see it. I’m just an observer, don’t be angry I caught your angry face before you put on a blank face” She pleaded and I couldn’t help but chuckle. 

“Okay stop apologizing now. But… what I can’t understand is why? Why did you do that?” I asked And she moved in discomfort, I guess I shouldn’t have asked?

She closed her eyes and sighed before opening them again.

“Alicia said people who aren’t in our status deserve to be treated poorly. I didn’t want to do it but, I was under pressure and her eyes were just poking me back there, waiting to see if I’d shout at that waiter or let her do the work. I’m not a bad person… or am I?”  I never knew that girl had so much influence on you…

“Listen… you’re not a bad person, but you shouldn’t let these girls get to you. Why don’t you stick to what you think is right? Now I’m guessing you didn’t want to go on this date with me right?” 

“No no. I mean, I missed your face and I wanted to see you again but I also didn’t want to agree to the date because I knew Alicia wouldn’t just leave us alone. You see, this is all her idea.

After I broke up with Andrew, I didn’t feel like going into a relationship again so I remained single. But then she’d taunt me and tell me that I wasn’t beautiful enough to get a guy for myself that’s why I’m still single. I wanted to prove her wrong but I didn’t know where to start, So when I saw you and how good looking you were I got too excited and I wanted to show you off and make Alicia see that I have good taste, she wanted to see who this guy was and that’s how we ended up here. Even though I just wanted to prove her wrong I actually don’t care about that anymore, I really like you Theo and I’m afraid Alicia will try to take you away” She pouted

Now everything makes sense…

I placed my hand on he head as I gently Pat her

“Its alright. Maybe I might just like you one day, but only when you’re older and I’m sorry too” I smiled 

I’m sorry I was too judgmental, it’s nice to see a nice rich girl for a change.

 Unknown to them, Alicia had been watching them and she didn’t like this sour feeling in her guts. It seems she's already fallen for Theo, Lilly won’t be a problem, she can just tell her to go find another guy.

She made her way out of the dance floor and took the stairs up to where they were seated.

“Speak of the devil” Lilly said and I turned to see Alicia approaching us.

“Theo let’s go dance” She smiled sweetly 

“He’s my date” Lilly hissed 

“Well you’re not dating him so?” she said and I was dragged out to the dance floor.

I didn’t say anything because I wanted Lilly to standup for herself and she was doing fine but then she stopped and couldn’t counter Alicia. That girl needs to learn how to face Alicia and thankfully, I’ve decided to be her teacher for the night.

“So how did you and Lilly meet?” I was drawn back to reality and I faced Alicia

“I redesigned her house. I work in MRC” I said 

“Wow, that’s cool. Well how about you redesign my house too? So we can see each other more” she said as she licked her lips.

I’m sorry Lilly but that’s how you’re supposed to lick your lips, in a sexy way. But why am I getting that feeling that Alicia taught her that.

“Okay” I said 

“Okay? Is that all? You know what, I’ll just get to the point. Theo I like you and I think we could make a good item, unlike Lilly I’m already 18 so there’s nothing stopping this ship” 

“You realize that I’m only here because of Lilly right? Won’t she get hurt?”

“Lilly? Forget about her. I can tell her to go find another person and she'll gladly obey” She smirked 

Now how selfish can you be Alicia?

“Do you need more convincing?” She asked and before I could ask what she meant by that, she drew me in and smashed her lips into mine. I was startled but I quickly pushed her away 

Now that’s my limit brat! That’s my limit!

Before I could even do anything I saw Lilly in front of me and the next thing that happened was a hot slap

Everyone quit their dancing and we were now the center of attention. I saw the other two minions scurry towards Alicia who was still in shock as she held her hand to her cheek.

Yeah yeah you guys thought I was the one who got slapped right? 

“I’m sick and tired of you! Your mean attitude and your covetous side! Why can’t you just be content, you just like to oppress people who are lower than you and those who are much powerful than you, you always want to manipulate them and make them feel like trash! Alicia I’m done being your minion and don’t even think about coming for Theo because I’m the one who’s going to win his heart so stay away and stop being a stuck up bish!” Lilly glared as she stood between us

“Lilly how sure are you that He wasn’t the one who kissed Alicia?” Hema asked 

“I saw everything, She was the one who forced him so do me a favor and don’t side with this bish! I advice you guys to leave her alone because all she does is ruin one’s self esteem, it took me a while but Theo has helped me see how much of a bad influence she is. From today I won’t report to anyone but myself and Alicia you know too well not to attack me because I can ruin your life with just a simple request, same thing goes for Theo. Don’t come close to any of us but if you try to do anything Funny…” she stepped closer to Alicia until their noses were almost touching 

“I’ll f*cking tear you apart” she hissed and she stormed out of the club. 

It seems my work here is already done. I gave Alicia a quick glance before going out to join Lilly. 

We got into my car and I drove her back to her house. When the engine came to a halt she suddenly spoke, before silence could reign over us

“Thank you Theo. For making me see how bad Alicia is and for making me stand up to her. I felt so alive when I challenged her, that’s the first time anyone has ever done that to her” she chuckled

“There’s always a first time for everything Lilly, and I’m proud you stood up to her” 

“So… will we still go on dates?” She pursed her lips as she looked at me with those bigs eyes

“ For now no. I think you should focus more on your studies and grow a little bigger” I signalled to her chest and she blushed red hot

“Hey don’t say that! But… what if I get plastic surgery?” she looked at me from underneath her lashes

“Don’t, because I would like my future girlfriend to be all natural” I smirked 

“Thanks Theo” she smiled and she hugged me before stepping down from the car

I waved her good bye before turning on the engine and speeding off.

You know, I did good today...

I did good.

“Don’t ever let peer pressure get to you. Always remember to be you, love yourself and follow your guts, take it from Theo your self esteem Teacher.”
