MRS BLAKE’S POV

The doctor’s report on Nina’s health was still in my hands.

I had read the lines over and over again, hoping they would change .. hoping maybe I was mistaken.

But the truth stared right at me in bold letters.

Nina might look strong, but her kidneys were failing… slowly, quietly, like a candle dying in the dark.

My hands clenched around the paper, crumpling it a little. Across from me, Blake sat silent … his eyes fixed on nothing, his face calm as though the world hadn’t just fallen apart. That calmness made my chest burn with anger.

“You aren’t saying anything, Blake,” I muttered, my voice low but sharp.

He looked up, sighing. “What do you want me to say, Lucy?”

The way he said it ..like none of this mattered …made me snap.

“That’s all you have to say?” I spat, slamming the report on the table. “Our daughter’s health is failing, and you’re sitting there like it’s another normal day! We have just a few months to find her a donor!”

He didn’t respond. His jaw moved slight

ROBERTO POVI let out a low chuckle. Her gaze had locked on mine, wide, confused, frozen and before she could blink, I was already gone. I slipped back into the crowd, into the shadows. I didn’t want Zed noticing me.Not yet.I enjoy this part. The waiting. The watching.First at the mall. Now here. I’ve been following her for days. I could’ve sent one of my boys, but where’s the fun in that? There’s something delicious about doing it myself. About watching her feel that unease she can’t explain.I slipped out of the park to find them already gone.Good.I got into my car, rolled the window down, and pulled out my marijuana, lighting it slowly. Smoke filled the space as her innocent face flashed through my mind. That softness. That innocent naive face.I smiled.“Soon,I will fuck that innocence of you” I muttered, starting the engine as plans lined up perfectly in my head.******************The building greeted me with its usual dark aura.My cartel stood guard, weapons strapped, ey

AMARA POVThe cold air hit me the moment I stepped inside. The house felt heavier than usual, like the walls were waiting to explode. I could sense the tension thick in the air, but I didn’t care. I came for answers. And I wasn’t leaving without them.“Look who finally decided to come home,” Mom’s voice came sharp, her glare colder than the marble floor.I ignored her. I wasn’t here to fight. Not this time.“I came here to ask you both something,” I said quietly, my voice tight, my gaze moving from Mom to Dad.Nina sat on the couch, her face bowed down like a guilty child caught stealing. For a second, I almost pitied her…but no, not after everything she’d done.“Can’t you see the mood here? Are you that dumb?!” Mom snapped, voice slicing through the air.“Mom, I—”“I’m in no mood for your stupid tantrum!” Dad’s voice boomed, echoing through the room.“I don’t fucking care!” I screamed back, my chest rising and falling as tears threatened to spill. My heart felt like it would burst.

  • PROFESSOR SIN    PRETENTIOUS WHORE

NINA POVI stared at my phone again and groaned loudly.Nothing.Professor Black still hadn’t replied. Not even a “seen”.“Calm down, Nina,” I muttered, pacing my room. “He might be busy.”Then his eyes crept into my head again. That look. That calm smile that felt like he owns and control the world.I bit my lip, smiling slowly, imagining those perfect hands working on me.I almost slipped my fingers down my thigh before I snapped out of it.“Very soon,” I whispered to my reflection. “Very soon you’ll be all mine.”Amara is just a sore loser.I laughed.I turned to the mirror.God.I looked insanely hot.The net dress clung to me like it was stitched by desire itself. Bare skin underneath, the fabric covered only my nipples, curves on full display, heels sharp enough to kill. My hair was in a messy bun, effortless, dangerous.Perfect.I grabbed my keys and stepped out of my private lodge. Mum had called nonstop yesterday. I told her I slept over at one of the SASSY’s.Whatever.

  • PROFESSOR SIN    UNCOVERING EVERY TRUTH

AMARA POV“Who is that little girl?”My hands trembled as I held the pendant out. My chest tightened until it hurt. The face of the little girl in the picture…..It was the same one in my memories The same eyes. The same broken fear. The same face that haunted my memories.“That’s me,” Tracy said slowly. “Talk to me. What’s happening?”Her brows creased in confusion.Tears pooled in my eyes.“Joan,” I whispered, grabbing her hands. Her eyes widened instantly.“Wait—how do you know that name?” she breathed. “I’ve never told anyone that.”She froze. Her gaze stayed on me, too long. Too sharp.“Yes,” I sobbed. “It’s me… it’s Lilly.”“Lilly?” Her voice cracked.I nodded, tears spilling freely. She pulled me into her arms and we collapsed to the floor together, crying, clutching each other like the world was ending.“I waited for you,” she cried messily. “I… I thought you were dead…”I wiped her tears with shaking fingers.“Shh… I don’t remember everything,” I whispered. “They took me. I

AMARA POVI felt relieved after talking to Daniel. No matter what, he was the first real friend I ever made. And I didn’t want to lose him….not now, not when everything in my life felt like it was spinning out of control.I act strong in front of Zed. I smile, i nod, I pretend I’m okay. But deep down… I’m not.My mind keeps circling back to Nina’s words like a curse I can’t shake.Am I really not their daughter? Is that why they treated me so badly? Is that why she wanted me dead? We’re sisters.A tight sigh escaped my lips as I looked up and realized students were already walking out. I hadn’t even noticed the lecture ended.I grabbed my bag and stood.“Here comes the bitch.”Her voice.Irritating. Familiar.Heels clicked as they stopped in front of me.I rolled my eyes. I wasn’t in the mood, especially not after everything they’d done to me.I tried to walk past them. One of the minions shoved me back. The SASSY.Always loud, always desperate for attention. And judging by the way h

  • PROFESSOR SIN    LETTING GO

DANIEL POVI stood in the shadows, watching her.Amara.She looked… different, brighter, softer, stronger.Almost unreal, like she didn’t belong to the same broken world I knew. For a second, she looked like a goddess, untouched, glowing in a way that made my chest ache. Was I wrong about everything? Was she better with Professor Black? My jaw tightened at the thought. But then….What about what Anna said?I sighed deeply.I loved her. God, I loved her more than I ever admitted, even to myself. And the worst part? She looked happy. Happier than I had ever seen her. That truth hurt more than rejection. My chest tightened painfully.Maybe… maybe this was where I should stop.Maybe I have to let go.I turned and start walking toward the library. I just wanted to bury myself in books, drown my thoughts, silence the image of her smile.“Daniel—”Her voice, soft, familiar. My heart jumped violently, like butterflies exploding in my chest.I turned.“Hi, Amara,” I said, smiling awkwardly.I
