Ch. 17: Denice's True Identity

“This villa also belongs to you. When you decide to leave and that you have served your purpose here, making a name for yourself, this will always be your home.”

“Thank you, Grandfather. Let’s go inside now. Shall we have a cup of tea?”

“Of course! Let’s also let you meet your Grandmother.”

They made their way into the Harrison family mansion. Walking in the door was the living room immediately in the center, while the study sat some ways down the hall on the left-hand side. Past the study were the stairs off to the left, leading to the rest of the mansion.

To the right, was the kitchen and beside it, was the dining area. When they got to the kitchen, Denice stopped in her tracks! Just by looking at her, she knew that this was her mom’s mom. She stood frozen and the tears began to well up into her eyes. Her Grandmother, Nancy, made her way over to her; tears made their way into her eyes as she fixed her gaze on the young woman standing in front of her.
