Half truth

She walked back the remaining metres on barefoot because the shoes she wore were already hurting her abd then her feet were already sore.

She got home at exactly 10:15pm, She stopped in the kitchen and opened the refrigerator,her favourite whiskey wasn't there so she opted for beer.

She sat down at the kitchen table drinking beer while thinking deeply.

"I didn't hear any car drive in" Rhea answered as she leaned on the rails of the stair case. She still wore the clothes she had on earlier today .

" I walked" Cindy answered.

" You did what?" She asked as she strolled to where Cindy was .

"Not all the walking Rhea, he dropped me in front of the avenue, I just had to walk here" she explained.

" Oh, poor thing".

Cindy sat still studying the beer and then look across her.

"Everything feels alot strange Rhea" she said as she drank more beer.

"What do you mean?" She asked staring hardly at her.
