34. Separating from the group

Pressing my eyelids tightly, I was expecting the pain of the hard rock bottom to hit me any moment. But, it never happened because I felt someone’s strong arms sliding under my shoulders, breaking my fall. I ended up sitting, with the water up to my breasts.

Amazed, I turned to face my savior, and it was the carefree Josh. I gaped at him in a lack of words. He was leaning over me with care in his eyes and curls falling over his forehead.
