Episode 5 - New beginnings

I looked at the direction that voice came and to say that I was hypnotized by the view before me was an understatement. Out of the woods came two men dressed in casual clothes but they still looked formal somehow. I look at Samuel who's been grinning at me. I focus my gaze on those two greek gods that are coming our way and that’s when it hits me. That amazing bittersweet smell but it was way stronger. I felt I was being surrounded by this delicious smell. Sam walks towards those men and greets them as he turns around to look at me. I widen my eyes as I realize who those men were.

“Love, these are my brothers. Shawn and Sawyer.” Sam introduces his brothers, proudly. They looked identical. They smelled the same. But their eyes were somehow different from each other. All of them had this tint of green in their eyes but the difference was the shade of brown in their gazes. Shawn had this beautiful deep shade of brown in his eyes that reminded me of chocolate. While Sam had this amazing chestnut shade in his gaze. And Sawyer had these gorgeous honey eyes. I was amazed by their beauty.

Shawn

Ever since I laid my eyes on her from the woods I couldn’t believe that I and my brothers were so blessed by the Moon Goddess. Our mate is simply gorgeous. And that dress hugging her body was giving all kinds of ideas of what to do with her. Her legs. Her hair. The way she looked at us, sharing the vision with her wolf so she could see us too. The burning flame of pure desire in her gaze was setting us all on fire. I can’t wait to meet her wolf. And I can’t certainly wait to get to know her. I want to get to know all of her secrets. To travel on those curves. To kiss those lips. To fall asleep and wake up with her by my side. To make her mine. To make her ours.

Sawyer

I couldn’t help but feel the luckiest man to walk on this earth along with my brothers. Our mate is just perfect. I am freaking speechless. She looked like she just walked out of our dreams. The dream girl. Her smell was making us aroused. If she allows us we’ll take her right here and right now. We are more than ready and will be more than happy to claim her as ours.

Samuel

We’re trying our best to restrain ourselves from acting on our instinticts and claiming her right here but she’s not helping any of us with that look upon her eyes. They were on fire but there was something else dancing on those gorgeous hazel eyes. Innocence. And that was driving us mad.

Pandora

We stand there eyeing each other. Undressing each other with your eyes. The tension was growing slowly but with its intensity reaching a whole new level for me. As we’re accepting each other as mates. Letting that attraction sink in and wake up our deepest desires. Ones that we never knew we were craving. Lua can’t wait for us to claim those greek gods ‘cause that’s what they are. Never have I ever seen such handsome men. I take one step closer to them trying to close the distance between us and before I know it I’m trapped in their embrace. My body is tingling with their touch. Lua is howling so loud out of happiness that I’m pretty sure they can hear her.

“It’s so good to be finally with the three of you.” I whisper to them.

“It’s amazing to finally have you in our arms, little one.” Sam answers me.

“You have no idea how long we’ve been looking for you.” Shawn says.

“You can’t even imagine how far we went to find you. And finally, you’re here with us.” Sawyer says.

“We’re finally together.” I say with a huge smile on my face.

“I told you he had an amazing surprise for you.” Sophie says with a smirk on her lips. She was looking amazing in her sparkling golden mid-thigh dress along with Charlotte who looked gorgeous in a dress with the same length but looser and with a peach-rose color.

“Indeed. Would I be wrong in thinking the two of you had something to do with the surprise?” I ask my sisters playfully.

“Yes.” Charlotte answers me confidently.

“Oh, really? So if I look in Sam’s pocket I won’t find the map with the ins and outs of our backyard that I draw for the both of you?” I ask them again this time crossing my arms over my chest.

“No.” Sam answers and wink playfully at them.

“Hmmm. That's okay then. I’ll find out one way or another.” I say daring the two girls.

“Game on, sis.” Sophie said with confidence filling her voice as she goes back inside with Char right behind her.

“What was that?” Shawn asks.

“Family tradition.” I simply answer while my brain starts working on trying to figure out how the girls helped them without letting mom and dad find out about the map.

“Family tradition?” Sawyer asks me, confused.

“Yes.” I turn around to face them once again. “Every year on their birthday I play a prank on them or give them a riddle to solve in order for them to get their gifts. Anything that could help them develop their abilities but with time they started to catch on and we made this our tradition. So we decided that we would do that only on our birthdays and it’s always a different challenge.” I explain to them.

“This seems fun.” Sawyer comments.

“It is. But with those two always means double trouble.” I say chuckling and then I notice they are looking at me. Smiling at me. “What?”

“You’re amazing.” They say in unison making me blush hard. Before I can make out something to answer they hug me again and I let myself melt in their warmth. I really can’t describe what this feeling is but it’s overwhelming. Suddenly I smell someone else and my body tenses up.

“What is it, love?” Sam asks, a little worried.

“There is someone watching us.” I whisper to them and don’t allow them to break our embrace.

“Pandora, what is going on?” Shawn asks me, trying to keep his voice down.

“There was someone with the both of you before you guys stepped out of the woods? Did you feel someone’s presence?” I ask them, still whispering.

“No. Why? Who's there?” Sawyer asks caressing my back, making a shiver run down my spine.

“That’s what I’m trying to find out. This scent is familiar but right now I can’t remember to whom it belongs.” I say trying hard to focus.

“How far the person is from here, love?” Sam asks.

“12 miles.” I answer with precision.

“What the hell? How can you smell someone that far?” Shawn asks startled but before I can answer I feel the scent getting a bit stronger and Lua trying to break free and take control. With that, I can hear my parents coming to the backyard in a rush. My mom opens the backdoor.

“Dora? What is it? Why are you so agitated?” My mom asks me, getting closer to us.

“There is someone coming. I don’t know who but the scent is familiar to me.” I answer her with a harsh tone.

“Dora, look at me.” She says pulling me out of my mates’ embrace and when she sees my face I noticed her expression change into worry but in a split of a second she put on her serious expression.

“Charlie, go call our alpha.” She summons my dad while still looking at me half transformed. Me and Lua sharing the control. My ear pointed like an elf’s, my teeth turned into fangs and my nails into claws.

“What is it?” My dad asks.

“Someone unannounced is coming.” My mom says without breaking our eye contact.

“8 miles.” I say. My blood boiling in my veins. I turn my back to my mother and look into the woods.

“Who is coming, Dora?” Mom asks me.

“A man with dark skin, golden eyes, and a tattoo in his right arm.” I tell everyone.

“Which tattoo, Pandora?” I hear the voice of the alpha asking me.

“It’s a knife with the end of it down.” As soon as I finish describing the stranger’s tattoo I free myself from my mother’s hand and make a run towards the enemy when he jumps out of the woods but I surprised him by taking his foot while he was still in the air and throwing him in the trees. I growled warning him to not get up.

“Who are you?” I ask him.

The fallen man coughs as he tries to regulate his breath.

“She sent me… here… to bring you… to her.” He says between coughs

“Who sent you?” I ask him firmly.

The man who’s on his knees looks up to me with glowing blue-purple eyes.

“She needs to talk to you.” He says while looking at me in the eyes. In a quick move, my mates formed a shield between me and the mysterious man.

“She isn’t going anywhere with you.” Samuel says with authority filling his voice.

“Nor anywhere near you.” Sawyer completed.

They were starting to show their alpha’s aura. It was powerful. One single word from them and everyone would be obligated to obey them.

“Now, be a good boy and answer her question. Who. Are. You?” Shawn demanded him to answer but to our surprise all he did was laugh.

“Your commands don't work on me. It has no effect on me. I only answer to her.” He answers with a smirk looking at my mates who have become tense with the stranger’s reply.

“She wishes to talk to you but she doesn’t have much time.” He says with a more respectful tone while looking towards me.

“Where?” I ask him coldly

“There is a waterfall nearby. I’ll accompany you.” He offers.

“There is no need to. My mates will accompany me there.” I answer him

“She has specifically required that you come alone.” He says trying to make me change my mind.

“If that was the case she would have come to me as she did earlier.” I answered him, once again, coldly. I realize I sharpened the curiosity of everyone around us with my answer.

“I’ll be waiting for you there, then.” He hissed. I think he didn’t like that I already had company. With his final answer, he gets back on his feet and runs back in the direction he came from. As I’m about to speak to my mates I’m interrupted.

“What do you mean when you said, and I quote, ‘She’d have come to me as she did earlier’?” My mom asks me while crossing her arms in front of her chest. This was a bad sign. It meant she was not angry. She was mad! I’ve got nowhere to run as everyone’s eyes are on me now, waiting for an explanation.

“Earlier today, when I was waiting for Sam's car with him something seemed to be calling me from the woods. When I attempted to get closer to see what could be I froze.” I explain to them

“Why didn’t you say something?” Sam asks

“Because I didn’t just freeze. Everything froze. It seemed like I was in trance. Nothing moved.” I told them as I remembered that agonizing feeling of not being able to move. I couldn't if you wanted to control my own breathing.

“And it happened right before we came outside.” I say looking at Sam. “And it just confirmed my suspicions. I looked at the watch on the wall and on your wrist. The time stopped.” I explain to them

“Okay, let’s not argue about it. There was nothing you could do. But are you really willing to meet that guy and whoever he was talking about?” Shawn asked me.

“Yes. When his eyes glowed it had the very same shade of whatever came to talk to me a few moments ago.” I say firmly. “I have to go to the waterfall. Will you come with me?”
