Episode 20 - Relationships
The dinner went quite well even though my mates tried really hard to make me react to their jokes with more than a small smile or a little laugher. I was hurt when hearing them explain their agreement with their parents. I know they are alphas and need their Luna to rule by their side but it still hurts nonetheless. I excuse myself from the dining table and take everyone’s plates with me, dad comes to help me serve the desert but I stayed behind to start washing the dishes.
“Love, you won’t join us for the dessert?” Dad asks me softly while putting his hand on my shoulder.
“Not in the mood to eat dessert, dad.” I answer him with a sad smile.
“You better leave some dishes for me to wash so you can tell me what has happened.” He winks playfully at me.
