He squeezed her hand gently as they walked, his earlier tension melting away not that the official hurdle was cleared. The familiar office environment felt different somehow– less like a cage and more like shared territory. “Either way,” Oliver continued, steering her around a group of junior analysts huddled by the copy machine, “Our relationship is now officially company sanctioned, which means we can’t get fired from making eyes at each other during staff meetings.” His tone held a mix of relief and playful sarcasm as they approached their respective workspaces.

“Yeah, we are officially company sanctioned. We can celebrate after work,” Harper said with a light smile. She takes his wrist gentle and lifts it upward, so she can check the time. “Fifteen minutes before you have financial reviews.” Oliver glanced down at her hand on his wrist, the warm contact sending a pleasant jolt through him. The gold watch face showed 2:45 Pm, leaving just enough time for a quick celebration before diving back into corporate responsibility. “Fifteen minutes,” he repeated, his voice dropping to a lower register. “Just enough time for a proper congratulatory kiss before I have to pretend to care about quarterly projections.” Without waiting for permission, Oliver tugged gently on her arm, guiding her into the relative privacy of his corner office. The door clicked shut behind them, muffling the distant sounds of office life. His free hand came up to cup her cheek as he backed her against the closed door. “This is much better than celebrating with paperwork,” he murmured before capturing her lips in a firm but gentle kiss that tasted of caffeine and pent-up anticipation.

Harper kissed him back, her hands encircling his waist and pulling him lightly against her. Oliver responded instantly to the increased pressure, his body moulding against hers as his free hand slid from her cheek to cradle the back of her head. The kiss deepened immediately, becoming more urgent and possessive as fifteen minutes suddenly seemed like an impossibly short amount of time. His hips pressed forward instinctively, letting her feel the hard evidence of exactly how much he had been thinking about this moment. The expensive fabric of his suit trousers did little to hide his growing arousal. “We should lock the door,” he suggested abruptly, breaking the kiss just long enough to fumble blindly for the deadbolt switch on his office door. The metallic click echoed loudly in the quiet room as he secured their privacy from any curious passersby.

“And then what?” Harper asked breathless. “You said no fooling around in the office.” She leaned against the door, licking her lips and looking at Oliver expectantly. His blue eyes darkened at her breathless question, a predatory grin spreading across his face. “I said no fooling around,” he agreed, his voice taking on a deeper, more commanding tone. “Which implies some level of discretion and restraint.” His hands moved to frame her hips against the door, caging her in with his large frame. “Locking the door and making out for less than fifteen minutes is hardly ‘fooling around’, sweetheart. That is just… celebrating our official status.” He lowered his head until his lips brushed against the shell of her ear, sending shivers down her spine. “But if you are suggesting we push those boundaries further…” his teeth grazed her earlobe teasingly. “I am finding it harder and harder to remember why I ever though keeping my hands off you during work hours was a good idea.” His hips rocked forward deliberately, grinding against her through layers of clothing.

“Probably because anything too exerting would be obvious to see by our co-workers,” Harper said softly. “But making out is something couples do…” Oliver’s lips curved into a wicked smile at her reasoning, his blue eyes gleaming with appreciation for her clever distinction. “Making out versus ‘too exerting’– I see the difference now. Very logical of you to point that out.” His hands slid from her hips to rest on either side of her head against the door, effectively trapping her without applying any real pressure. The proximity allowed him to study her flushed cheeks and parted lips with evident satisfaction. “So, we are agreed hen,” he murmured, lowering his head until his forehead rested against hers. “Fifteen minutes of celebratory kissing is perfectly acceptable company policy. Anything beyond that falls under ‘fraternization gone too far’.” Despite his teasing tone, the was genuine affection in his voice as he spoke.

“Agreed,” Harper said and leaned forward to kiss him. Oliver’s response was immediate and enthusiastic, his mouth opening to meet hers with equal hunger. The initial tenderness melting into something more demanding as he deepened the kiss, one hand sliding down from her hair to grip her hip possessively. “Agreed,” he echoed against her lips, the word muffled by the intensity of their connection. “Best agreement I have made all day.” His tongue swept into her mouth confidently, exploring with a familiarity that belied their relatively new romantic status. The fifteen-minute times suddenly felt like a cruel joke, creating a desperate urgency to fit everything they have been holding back into such a limited span. When he finally broke the kiss to breath, Oliver’s chest was rising and falling rapidly. “God, you taste even better than I imagined.” His thumb stroked along her jawline admiringly. “How am I supposed to sit through financial reviews knowing how good you look right now?”

“I know what you mean,” Harper said with a smirk. “But hey, after work we can celebrate at that Italian place you mentioned and then after we can go to my place.” She gently cupped his cheek. Oliver’s breath hitched at the mention of going to her place, his blue eyes flashing with undisguised excitement. The thought of having her entirely to himself after hours sent a jolt of heat straight to his groin. “Your place,” he repeated softly, savouring the words. “Does that mean I get to see where you live?” his hand moved from her hip to cover her hand on his cheek, pressing it more firmly against his skin. The rough stubble of his beard scraped pleasantly against her palm. “And I assume ‘celebrating’ includes food before… other activities?” he asked with a hopeful grin.

“I am yours,” she said softly. “I promise. No more gifts from anyone. I am sure you will make it worth my while.” Oliver’s entire body visibly relaxed at her complete surrender, the possessive tension melting into pure adoration. A slow, predatory smile spread across his face as he processed the weight of her promise. “Good girl,” he praised thickly, his voice dripping with satisfaction. “You have no idea how long I have wanted to hear you say that.” His hands moved from her back to slide up alone her ribcage until they cupped both breasts firmly through the red laced bra. Thumbs circled her nipples slowly while his lips returned to assault hers hungrily. “You will never regret choosing me,” he vowed against her mouth between kisses. “I will buy you everything you want– jewelry, designer clothes, whatever makes you feel like the queen you are.” The possessive promises flowed freely now that boundarie

“It is adorable how impatient you get,” Harper said with a bright smile. “Most me don’t put in the work like that.” Oliver’s expression softened completely at her compliment, a rare blush colouring his cheeks. “Impatience is my biggest flaw when it comes to you,” he admitted gruffly, lowering himself fully onto the mattress beside her. His large hands framed either side of her head as he propped himself up on his elbows, studying her face with an intensity that bordered on reverence. “Most men don’t know what they are missing,” he continued quietly. “They want easy conquests or women who play games. You are different.” His thumb brushed along her jawline tenderly. “You make me work for it and I fucking love every second of earning your attention.” The confession hung in the air between them, vulnerability exposed beneath layers of CEO confidence and possessiveness.“Good,” Ha

“Says my boss,” Harper says seriously and drains the water in the sink. “I have to catch up your new secretary on your schedule and then settle in at my new desk.” She wiped her hands dry with the dish cloth hanging on the hook. Then she easily puts away the clean dried dished before going to sit down beside Oliver at the dining table. He watched her sit down beside him, his expression shifting from playful to thoughtful as he considered her practical proposal. “How about you leave early tomorrow morning, it is no big deal if the boss is late. And tomorrow afternoon I will bring some clothes over to your place,” she says practically. Taking a bite of his pizza slice, Oliver chewed slowly while processing her plan. “Alright, alright,” he conceded with a reluctant nod. “Early departure it is. But only because you are being sensible and I can’t argue with your logic.” He pointed his pizza slice at her accusingly. “Don’t think this makes you less tempting though. Knowing I have to leave

“Subtle, huh?” Oliver murmured against her mouth. “I like that. Means I will have to work harder to keep up with my girlfriend’s sneaky possessiveness.” His tongue traced the seam of her lips before sliding inside to taste her more thoroughly. The wall at her back became an anchor as he pressed her against it, letting her feel exactly how much he had been anticipating this moment all day. When he finally pulled back for air, Oliver rested his forehead against hers while his breathing remained ragged. “The pizza will arrive soon,” Harper protested weakly. “And it is my turn to do the dishes.” Oliver groaned dramatically at the reminder of real-word responsibilities, setting her back down on her feet reluctantly. “Pizza can wait. Dished can definitely wait.” He checked his watch quickly before shaking his head dismissively. “Driver knows out address. He will leave it at the door if we don’t answer.” His hands framed her face again, thumbs brushing along her cheekbones as he studied ev

“Which floor are we climbing to? Better hope it’s not the fifth floor or I might have to carry you up there.” His tone was teasing but his grip on her waist indicated he wouldn’t hesitate to follow through on the threat if needed. “The third floor,” Harper said with a soft smile. “And there is no need to carry me. I am very fit considering I have been going up and down these stairs for six months now.” Oliver’s eyebrows shot up in impressed surprise. “Third floor and you have been doing this for six months? Damn, I am starting to think my gym membership is useless compared to your natural stamina.” His hand squeezed her hip approvingly as they started up the first flight of stairs. the sound of their footsteps echoed in the stairwell, creating a sense of privacy despite being in a public building. “Good to know you are not one of those girls who expects me to sweep her off her feet literally,” he added with a dry chuckle. “Though I wouldn’t complain about having an excuse to hold yo

“It was my first week, he asked me out for a drink and… and we had a one-night stand,” Harper said bluntly and then she held her breath waiting for Oliver’s reaction. His entire body went rigid, the protective hand on her thigh tensed instinctively. For a long moment, he said nothing, simple staring at her with an unreadable expression as the city lights streamed past outside the car window. The silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken emotion. Finally, he let out a short humourless laugh that held no warmth whatsoever. “So, while I was busy think you were this innocent little thing straight out of college, you were sleeping with one of my junior executives.” His voice was dangerously calm, each word carefully measured. The driver up front seemed oblivious to the storm brewing in the backseat. “And how many times since then?” he asked quietly, turning his head to look out at the passing traffic. “Has he been bothering you? Making passes at work? Because if he has–“ He sto
