Chapter 17

We drove into town a bit and I could tell she was trying to figure out where we were going. I didn’t say. When we arrived, she had this look on her face I really couldn’t decipher, but I parked and got out to go to her side and opened her door and helped her out. We were in front of this impressive building with a world-famous restaurant on top. Everyone wanted to eat there, you had to have a reservation months in advance. Phoenix looked up and had this look on her face that wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be.
