Chapter Seven

CHRIS' POV

Like any weekend me and the guys were chilling at my apartment, playing COD whilst the rest of us are working out.

"Dude you should check out Emma. She came out all hot after summer break." Dylan was talking

"Camila is way hot though." Lucas comments

"You looking for trouble aren't you." I retort back he knows my sister is off limits

"Stating facts bro. I am a guy I can't ignore the fact that l don't see that beautiful face and worse more the curves that comes with it."

He surely is testing my patience, l was cut off by my phone ringing and Kira's name was displayed.

"Thank Kira." I told him

Composing myself l answer the phone

"Milady to what do l owe this pleasure,"  I greet her

"Hi Chris." She sounded tired but there was a hint of worry

"Hey. You okay?." I immediately my worry kicking in

"Well Yeah........ Not really. It's Kayla." She states

"What's wrong with her." I ask her genuinely concerned and glad she called me first.

She gets silent after l ask her for like some time and this was enough to be a,erred for it could be anything big

"Mia you still there." I ask

"Nooo it's almost stupid if l tell you." She chuckles

"Try me" I tell her

"Since morning the only words she told me were 'I will only eat, talk and see you if you bring Chris' now it's noon she hasn't eaten and my only hope is you cause El and Greyson -"

Lucas was on Camilas page and he was talking about things l will never want him to do this and at the same time l have to get to Kira .

"I will be right back something came on." I cut her off

She might think I didn't want to help her . Actually it was rude of ,e to do that.

"Lucas comment on my sister one more time l will gladly color your face it's too plain after all." I threaten whilst wiping away all the sweat.

After a quick shower l dress the usual, black joggers, some nike trainers and it's hoodie. Grabbing my keys, before l even open the door to leave unnoticed

"Where you going?" Dylan asks

"To see his new girlfriend ." Luke announces

"Are you seriously leaving the house to us alone."Jose shockingly states

"Its Just for today ." I tell them

"You have a girlfriend." Dylan is shocked

Didn't have time to explain myself l just went out without saying no or yes. Sliding in my Jeep herding to her apartment. Took me less than thirty minutes even after l passed by a restaurant for a take out, knocking on the door Kayla instead answers the door and jumps in my arms.

"Hey Chris."

"Hi Princess. Giving mummy a hard time are we." I kiss her cheek

"She didn't want me to see you." She pouts

"But you shouldn't lock yourself in your room. Ask her nicely and she will give it to you. "

"I am sorry," she mumbles fiddling with her fingers

"Go tell that to mummy." I place her down and she runs to Kira who was laying on the couch.

Taking in her body she wore those short shorts which to her were slightly tight. Her thighs were on display and damn ,l regret wearing this jogger right now. Her hair was lose which she rarely does.

If l don't want to feel uncomfortable the best l can do is not check her out or rather undress her.l

Getting in the kitchen and heating the food, l could hear Kayla waking her up to which immediately said sorry when she opened her eyes and started to attack her with kisses and Kira flashed her beautiful smile. She does really have a soft spot for Kayla. Making myself known she's shocked to see which l don't blame her for after the way l ended her call.

"Hey. Sorry about the call thing,"

"It's okay. Thank you for coming." She shrugs it off and stands to walk to the kitchen to which it had me groaning cause the lose big T-shirt she wore made her look sexy and it covered the short she wore inside.

God please make her change

After my silent prayer and adjustment of my joggers l made way to the kitchen as well where we ate like a small happy family. Kayla seemed to be the one doing all the talking and making us talk. Kayla did inherit the beauty , and the melodies laugh from her mom. I could get used to it. Her roommates weren't there and l couldn't ask for anything else with just the two of them.

Kayla showed us her new dance moves, what she was taught at school and her newly learned songs. It didn't feel odd or weird or anything l loved it. The two of them could be the happiness l was missing in my life.

I know l do don't do girlfriends but l will see where this goes before l put labels to it. After all the activity, we wrap the day with a movie which Kayla slept in the first twenty minutes of the movie. Kira upon noticing it takes her into her hands and goes to which l guess is her room or their room whatever it is. She really is a great mother don't know her for long but anyone can tell she is.

Coming back into the room, it started off with some awkward silence now that our chair lady was gone. Clearing my throat

"Thank you for calling me and still apologize for the abrupt disconnection l did,"

After a soft chuckle "I should be saying thank you for coming. You saved my ass today."

"She does that sometimes." I ask out of curiosity.

"You the first person she done it to. It's usually towards food cause she likes to have ice cream for dinner." She explains

"I should be honored then." I state

She crosses her legs to face me whilst her hand rests on the head rest of the couch to support her head. We talked about random staff from how it's normal to crave for such cause we did it when we were babies. To things about us. School and all. Time did fly without any one of us noticing .

Containing with a movie she falls asleep on the couch and all l Did was just lift her and place her in a room which l assumed was hers. The temptation to have her in my arms with those thighs ,God l deserved an award.

"Good night." I place a kiss on her forehead.
