Chapter three

" Found you" he repeated again, taking a step closer to her. 

" What?" She took one step closer too.  She wasn't anywhere scared of him, infact she was summersaulting on her insides. Yes, and she badly wanted to punch his face. 

" Name" His voice sounded demanding. It got her even more annoyed than before. 

" You're wasting your time dude. Go sit back down in front of the amusement park"

" You protected me, why?"

" And why on Earth would I ever do that...Again?" She muttered the last words under her breath so he wouldn't hear her. 

" Then why did you do it? Those men came for me, why did you then beat them up?"

" They were trying to snatch my things away, so I beat them up"

He scoffed, but his eyes flashed dangerously " They don't know you, but since it looked as if you protected me I am sure they do now. " He paused to look at her face. 

Ava glared at him, anger rushing down her veins. Who's he to look at her? She would poke those stupid eyes of his!

But, she had come to realize what he was trying to say. The men she had completely beat the life out of weren't trying to attack her, but him. But when she had stood her ground and went into her defensive mode, they must have thought she was his bodyguard or something, and that's when they had attacked her. 

Oh shit!

" I don't care. Leave me alone" She huffed frustratingly, about to turn around when he swiftly moved towards her again. 

" You don't have a choice" His voice sounded wicked and he now stood in front of her, blocking her path. 

" You're not the boss of me"

" I already am. "

" How cool" she purred sarcastically " So what would you like me to be?" She continued her sarcasm " Your actual bodyguard? Maybe you're a bad guy and have a gang out something, and you guys do all this bad stuff and..." She rolled her eyes " You're wasting your time!"

She knows he's a CEO, and she knows he's not a gang leader or is involved in all these mafia things and stuff. He's strictly a Playboy CEO, and he already have enough people protecting in at his office, and home. 

" Yes. I am a gang leader"

The sentence, even though he sounded more than serious, it made her almost burst into hot laughter. Then her face also turned serious, and the glare that was on her face disappeared, replaced with Extreme concern. 

She's known Green years. And one thing he never does is that, he's never lied. 

Not even once. He spells out the truth to you just as it is, he doesn't sugar-coat words or change them. And, his eyes were never this hard. 

" You'll now live in the mansion together with the remaining gang members, and you'll be there with me whenever you're needed, understood??"

" You don't even know me""

" I will, soon" he drawled. He then slipped something inside one of her coat pockets. 

" Come to me as soon as possible" he stated firmly, and then he looked furious once again " or I'll come get you myself!" He sure knows how to scare me.

With that, he turned around and walked away from me, disappearing deeper into the night. 

The way he walked was still the same too, just that it's much more cooler and manlier, and he gives off this dangerous vibe too. 

Ava sighed, shaking her head in confusion. 

She was thinking hard about it. It would be a very hard, and daring ride. 

Just as she had expected, Andrew was outside waiting for her return. Once he saw her walking up to the gate, he ran outside with a relieved face and took hold of one of her hands softly..

" I'm always late. Yet, you're always waiting. You should go to sleep like the others"

" I know you can protect yourself" he rolled his eyes. He was still holding my hand, but her other hand was still buried inside her coat pocket, but not the pocket filled up with money. 

And she looked gloomy. 

" What's wrong? " The concern and worry was all over Andrew " Did something bad happened?"

" No" She shook her head " Actually, Another opportunity to get back at his filthy ass has just been laid in front of me. I guess it's gonna be a two way thing for me now, and I am so going to do it!"

" Do what?"

" You'll see..." A smirk lined across her lips as she stared into space.
