Sara's POV.

I perched my butt on the Chesterfield sofa that was etched against the wall in the room, my arms coiled themselves around my knee with my chin pressed on it. I looked blankly outside the window, my eyes watched the earthly creatures fly around, and at the same time, I thought about the ugly mark that sat on my neck.

My stomach twisted at the fact that I called it ugly, but no matter how much my body and heart thought otherwise, it'd always be the truth. The mark on me was unwanted and vile. He couldn't control his stupid emotions and took it out on poor me.

How did he become the head of beasts with that short fuse waiting to be tapped in?

Gods, I hated him.
