The Escape

Elliana was pulled out of the airport, the cool night air hitting her face. She tried to struggle, but the officer had a tight grip on her. He led her to the front of the airport, where she could see a car idling. Her heart sank as she realized what was happening.

The officer pushed her towards the car, and the door opened. A man in a dark suit stepped out, his face expressionless.

"Is this her?" the man asked the officer.

"Yes, sir," the officer replied.

"I still don't get it why boss wouldn't let go of this lady." The man in suit added. "Boss left for an urgent meeting and he asked me to handle her, don't hurt her. He wants her back safe and sound, drag her into the car." The man added, and motioned for the officer to drag her in.

As the officer stepped forward to approached her, a loud crash came from inside the airport. People began to scream and run for the exits. In the chaos, Elliana broke free from the officer's grasp and ran back into the airport. She darted through the crowd, not knowing where she was going. All she knew was that she had to get away from the officer and the man in the suit who seems to be working with Leo's order.

She turned a corner and found herself in a deserted part of the airport. There were no people around, and the only sound was the hum of the fluorescent lights.

Elliana turned left, ducking into a small, empty hallway. She could hear the officer calling for her, his voice growing closer. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she had to keep moving. She sprinted down the hallway, her heart racing in her chest and her head turning backwards to check for her safety.

She reached the end of the hallway and saw a set of stairs leading up. She ran up the stairs, taking them two at a time. She heard the officer shouting behind her to stop, but she didn't stop. She reached the top of the stairs and found herself in a deserted section of the airport. And then, she suddenly, she got a text from Leo.

"You can't run away from me, so stop your tacky tricks because you are mine forever." It thus read.

Elliana's heart sank as she read the text from Leo, he had sent his boys after her, and she knew that he wasn't going to let her go. She felt like she was trapped, like there was no escape. But she had to try. She couldn't give up, not when her life was at stake. She immediately putoff her phone and threw it far away, she couldn't let his text bother her anymore.

She looked around, trying to figure out what to do next. She saw a door at the end of the hallway, and she ran towards it. She opened the door and found herself in a maintenance room. There were tools and cleaning supplies scattered around, but no way out.

Elliana felt like she was cornered, like there was no way out. She searched the room frantically, looking for a way to escape. She opened a closet door and found a mop and bucket. She grabbed the mop, holding it like a weapon. She was determined to fight, to not give in to Leo.

Suddenly, the door to the maintenance room burst open. And she closed her eyes tight, she thought that the officer and the man in the suit were standing there, and they were both carrying guns and her heart sank as she realized how truly trapped she was.

But Elliana's eyes widened in shocked as she opened her eyes and saw Jayden standing there instead of the men. She had never expected to see him again, and she certainly hadn't expected to see him here. He looked at her, his expression unreadable. She didn't know what to say, what to do. All she knew was that she had to get out of there.

"Jayden?" She asked, her voice shaking. "What are you doing here?"

"You still remember my name?" He asked back.

He didn't answer her question, instead he threw another question at her and she saw something in his eyes that made her afraid. He was hiding something, and she knew it couldn't be good.

Despite that, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had been so scared, so alone. But now, with Jayden here, she felt like she had a chance. She could get out of this.

"Thank you for coming." she thanked, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what I would have done without you. But how did you find me?" She asked.

"I came to the airport to send off my cousin when I saw you being chased by those men, I had to butt in to save you." He replied.

Jayden just nodded, his expression still unreadable. "Let's get out of here," he said.

.

Elliana nodded, and together they tried to run out of the maintenance room. As they tried to leave, the officer blocked them at the door, preventing then from leaving.

Jayden punched the officer, knocking him to the ground. But as they tried to leave, Leo emerged from the shadows. He was a tall, imposing figure, and he looked furious. Elliana's heart started racing again. She felt like she was trapped, like she would never escape from this nightmare.

"You're not going anywhere," Leo said, his voice cold and hard. "You belong to me, and you're not going to run away."

Jayden moved in front of Elliana, putting himself between her and Leo.

"I heard that she is your collateral." Jayden responded to Leo, which made Elliana shocked.

How did he know about that? she wondered.

"I don't know how much her family owes you, but I'll pay you back in full." Jayden boasted.

Those words really made Elliana confused, why would he help her.

"Do you think you can pay off her debt?" Leo asked.

"Of course, I'll do so and she would be mine in return for paying off her debt."

Elliana couldn't believe her ears, was he saving her just to trap her again?

"Go back to where you initially wanted to go, I will take care of this. And remember that you are no longer bound by him for I will clear off your debt and you would be mine."

With that, Elliana ran away from there as fast as her legs could carry her without turning back to see what else was happening and she boarded her flight unknowingly Leo and Jayden, who thought that she had just gone home.
