A Night Stand

Elliana's eyes widened in horror as she realized what had happened. She had been taken advantage of while she was in a vulnerable state. She sat up in bed and pulled the covers around her, feeling ashamed and violated. She looked at the man next to her, who was still asleep. She had no idea who he was or how she had gotten here. All she knew was that she wanted to go home.

Elliana got out of the bed, trying not to wake the man. She found her clothes, which were scattered around the room, and dressed as quickly as she could. She had to get out of here. Elliana took a break and glanced back at the man.

A chill ran down Elliana's spine as it all started to make sense. The man who was sleeping next to her was the same man who had been watching her at the bar. She remembered how he had approached her and led her out of the bar, but the rest was a blur. What had happened between then and how?

The realization that she had been taken advantage of hit her like a ton of bricks. She felt a surge of anger and fear, and she knew she had to get out of there. The man opened his eyes, and blinked a few times as he took in his surroundings. Then he noticed Elliana, who was standing by the bed with a look of horror on her face.

"Oh, hey there," he said groggily. "What's up?"

"What's up?!" Elliana exclaimed, her voice shaking. "You took advantage of me!"

The man looked at her, confused. "What? I don't remember anything like that. I was pretty drunk last night.

It slowly dawned on both of them that, whether they had intended it or not, they had made a mistake and they have had an unprotected sex due to the influence of alcohol.

Elliana was horrified, and the man looked shocked and embarrassed. Neither of them knew what to say. An uncomfortable silence filled the room totally and finally, the man spoke. "I'm really sorry," he apologized, his voice heavy with regret. "I didn't mean for anything like this to happen.

Elliana was ashamed to look at the man, she just wanted to run out. The man asked her her name, and she told him.

"My name is Elliana," she replied quietly, refusing to meet his gaze. She couldn't bear to look at him. She felt violated and ashamed. "I need to go," she added, starting to back towards the door.

"Wait, Elliana," he replied. "My name is Jayden, let's just talk for a minute. I'm really sorry. Please, I don't want you to feel like this is all your fault."

But Elliana was already out the door, and she didn't look back.

Hours later as Elliana went back home, she was shocked to receive a text message from Leo's family. She had assumed that they would want nothing to do with her, given the circumstances of their engagement. But it seemed they wanted to get to know her, despite the fact that she was only being used as a bargaining chip in their arrangement.

She didn't know what to think. On the one hand, she was angry and hurt that they would use her in such a way. But on the other hand, she couldn't help but feel curious about them. After all, they were Leo's family. What were they like? She was curious.

Elliana heard a knock at the door, and she knew who it was, she was expecting the driver. She took a deep breath and opened the door, revealing Leo's driver.

"Hello, Ms. Elliana," the driver greeted. "I've been sent to take you to meet with Mr. Leo's family."

Elliana hesitated for a moment, but then she realized that she might as well get this over with. "Alright," she replied, trying to sound more confident than she felt. "Let's go."

The driver nodded and led her to the car. As they drove, Elliana's nerves grew. On getting to the destination, she was speechless as she walked through the front door of the mansion. It was so grand and lavish, with high ceilings and marble floors. She had never seen anything like it before. She was even more surprised when she saw that there was a small party waiting for her.

She saw several people gathered in the living room, all dressed in fancy clothes. They looked up at her expectantly, and she felt a wave of anxiety wash over her. Then she noticed Leo standing at the front of the room, looking straight at her.

As she walked further, she heard the whispers of people about her. The whispers grew louder, and Elliana could make out the words being said.

"Who is she?"

"Where did they find her?"

"She doesn't look like she's from our circle."

"It's obvious they only chose her for the money."

"She is a collateral wife."

"She lacks a good sense of dressing"

Elliana's cheeks burned with embarrassment and anger. She could feel her eyes starting to sting with tears. Then she saw Leo walk past her, not even acknowledging her existence. It was the final straw.

Without a word, she turned on her heel and walked out the front door. But she froze in her tracks as the woman's words echoed in her ears. She turned around slowly, her heart pounding in her chest. She saw a woman in her 60s whom she presumed to be Leo's mother standing in front of her, a small smile on her face.

"Hello, dear," the woman greeted. "I'm so pleased to finally meet you. My son has told me so much about you."

Elliana was speechless. She had no idea what to say.

The woman continued, "I would like to introduce you to my family.

The woman walked to the end of the room, and announced that she was going to introduce her daughter in-law to be. Elliana felt calm to the woman's words, at last she was being recognized by the family she thought.

"I want to specially introduce my son's wife to be" Leo's mum announced.

Elliana anticipated for her name to be called, she was already blushing and adjusting her gown when she heard another name being called instead of hers.

"Please help me welcome Sabrina Joe, my son's wife to be." Leo's mum said.
