Chapter 8

OLIVIA'S POV

My eyes were glossy with tears as I sniffed in, wiping off the droplets of my tears before they dropped again.

My mind only kept spiralling back to one thing over and over again. 

Alpha Mateo.

I felt so disgusted by him! 

I could still feel my heart racing in my chest from the fright I had when he grabbed me..I felt so weak and defenseless under him. Just like the first time. Why Olivia?

Why?

I didn't even understand what was going on but the first thing he thought of was to Assault me.

Alpha Mateo proved to me that truly he was a heartless and ruthless Alpha people knew his as..Foolish me thinking he would be different.

"I hate you, I hate you so much!" The anger and pain in me made me yell out aggressively. 

for a split second I wish that dreadful night never happened. I wish we never met. And this baby?

I don't have the guts to wish Ill on a child who's not even born yet even though her father disregards her existence and mine.

"Olivia?" my eyes snapped open as I looked around the room for who called me.

"Who's—." A sharp pain pierced my chest causing me to wince slowly.

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to get your attention." The voice came again but this time I heard it like a echo in my ears. 

"Are you..inside me?" I voiced out confused.

"Yes, Our minds are connected so that is why you can hear me and I can hear you as well. I'm Ory your wolf." my eyes went wide in shock as she said. 

"You were awakened. what took you so long?" For 20 years I was wolfless and tolerated all sort of shades thrown my way because of that.

I was shorned multiple times by my father, Emma and every pack member who Knew the daughter of Alpha David was without a wolf. 

But now I can finally smile knowing my wolf is with me. 

"Ory, that's a nice name." I muttered chuckling lightly to ease my worry.

"Thank you Olivia. We feel each others emotion and you being sad makes me sad too." she said slowly and I chuckled.

"I guess you're updated with everything that's going on, I don't know what to do." I sighed heavily running fingers through my messy hair.

"I felt the mate bond between Alpha Alex as well but with Alpha Mateo...I feel nothing." she said and my stomach twisted with the truth.

 For two years I believed Ethan was my one true mate or He made me believe so. Bastard only used me to weave his way into my family and that was it. I hope he rots in Jail for everything he did to me.

Ethan was out of the question, but how do I digest the fact that another man, who I know not yet again will claim me as his. Yes the strings in my heart pulled when we were close,My ability to think straight shut down the moment our eyes met.

But do I ignore the fact that Alpha Mateo is still the father of my child and the man whom I'm legally married to?.

I'm torn between two sides and I don't even know what to choose. My whole life put together doesn't meet with the rollercoaster I've witnessed in just one month.

"No need to over think Olivia, I believe the right answer will come at the right time." Ory's Encouraging words worked magic on me as I slowly laid back on the bed and covered my body.

I need sleep. I need Rest and I need to forget everything. Tomorrow's problems will begin tomorrow for now my eyes need Rest.

"Olivia Darling." Even in my sleep I could hear my hear my name being called out faintly. it went on as a really soft brush combed my hair..Just the way I liked it.

"Wake up sweetheart, it's morning." This time it came with a hot breath close to my ear causing me to squeeze my eyes.

"Okay I'm coming." I mumbled.

"Get up Already!" 

Right before I got back to my sleep, Alpha Mateo's loud thunderous voice Sliced into my ear drums and I jolted up in fear.

"You're the Luna of My pack yet you're not even ready to begin your responsibilities." He uttered with mocking eyes as he scoffed at me. 

My fingers clenched to the sheets as I conversed my anger within me. 

it's not even dawn yet!

"Olivia it's your first day as Luna, it's tradition that you be the first to rise before the house does. It shows that you are ready for the responsibility." Luna Diana muttered as she sat close to me.

"I didnt know." I shuttered, my lips trembling as tears gathered in my eyes suddenly. I hate being shouted upon. 

"I'll get ready." I quickly wiped the tears and got off the bed. 

My stomach grumbled painfully as I moved forward. A intense twist in my gut that caused me to groan and hold my belly.

"Olivia?" Luna Diana's Caring tone flowed purely as she rushed to my side.

"Did you have anything to eat last night dear?" 

"I..no." I answered biting my lip slowly as she made me seat back on the bed.

"Why didn't you eat anything?" Alpha Mateo asked his gaze suddenly shifting to me. He had his arms crossed on his chest, all dressed in a fine Italian Coat with Gold embroidery on both sides. He recks of Luxury and nothing more.

"I didn't remember to eat." I tore my gaze from his before he noticed i was checking him out and answered his question.

"You're not just living for yourself Olivia that's my child growing in you, How will it grow If you handle your health reckless?" Couldn't he go one minute without insulting me?

Maybe it was part of his nature to ridicule people in every given opportunity.

"That's enough son, I'll ask the maids prepare something for you, you just lay back and rest okay, Your health comes before anything." Luna Diana said with so much concern as she forced my shoulders back to the bed. 

This lady was just effortlessly loving. I love her charisma, Her pride and her dress sense, Dressed like a true queen that she was.  

But in everything she was good at heart. Her smile knew how to make me forget my worries. She's only treated me with care and love ever since and it just made me yearn for my mother.

If only she were here.
