29| First Snow

Blair was awoken by the first snowfall of the year, where she blinked and glanced at the open window. The sky is gray.

"Oh, no!" screamed Blair suddenly, sitting up straight in her bed. "Snow? Is it snow?"

Her hair was messy, and her face was crumpled from having just woken up.

"Winter came sooner than I expected," Blair muttered. "What about this baby and me?" Blair felt her belly and greeted the baby gently. "We have to find a shelter, don't we?"

Blair took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Shelter?" repeated Blair.

Blair glanced at the interior of the room she was now in. The nuanced pastel room warmed her heart. Blair also felt the warm blanket that was still covering her body.

"How could I forget? I don't need shelter anymore now. Axel Barney has provided a comfortable and warm home for me."

Blair should be happy, but she is still uneasy about the fate of her pregnancy.
