Amelia Ellis POV

"It's you?" He stared at me.Realization dawned on me.

I remember him.That night.

Two weeks ago.

Flashbacks

It was my boyfriend's 24th birthday and I made a surprise for him.

Not simple.Not too extravagant,I wanted to give him a part of me.

One i hadn't given anyone.

We had been dating for 2 years, and I finally decided to make this birthday a memorable one.

That day,I quickly left my workplace, and I worked for him.

I called him, and he said he had left work early and was hanging out with his friends.

A few hours later,I was done cooking his favorite dish, and I called my best friend.

Ella Scott, my friend since college.

I told her about the surprise

For a moment,she was quiet.

"Can you hear me?"

"Network,I can't, babe." With that, she hung up,I was confused.

That was weird, but my happiness diffused all my thoughts.

A few minutes after she hung up,my phone rang.

"Babe?"

"I..I"

"The contract didn't pull through."

"The biggest one?"

"Yes"He muttered.I could tell he was angry.

"Sorry baby,what do you want to do now?"

"lets meet?" he suggested.

Author's POV

At the hotel lobby, Ella and a man stood.His hands wrapped around her waist as he kissed her earlobe.

She shivered,liking it.

A few hours later, the two were tangled in a sheet.

"When will you end things with her?"

"Ella,we have talked about this before. I love her."

"No,you dont! If you did,you won't be fucking me behind her back!

Its been 2 fucking years! "

"I didn't promise you anything,I just don't want her unhappy,I owe her my life."

"You loved her all this years,yet i am the one you fuck!"

Ella barked,she got up and walked into the bathroom.

His phone rang again.The contract he had been working on for months,the main investor kept pulling out.

He knew what the old man wanted. The man,had told Evan to give him his Secretary. For a night. And the contract was his.

The secretary. His girlfriend:Same person.

"What is it?"Ella asked as she walked out of the restroom.

"Mr. John refused to sign the contract."

"The 70 million dollar contract? Why?''

"He wants to spend a night with-" he looked away.

Ella,understanding what he meant,decide to push him forward.

Amelia had told her she would give herself tonight,does it matter who?

She smirked.

"The contract will be yours"

He stared at ella.

"She won't agree!"

He spoke.

Ella wrapped her hands around him,"we will make her."

When she arrived,Adrian was sitted,She walked towards him.

He pulled her into a hug,she could smell his cologne.It was different. But again,she brushed it.

"I wanted to make today special,"

"Thank you Adrian,you are the best"

He stared at her,he watched her eat.

"What?" She asked playfully,he was staring intently.

" you look ravishing tonight babe" she blushed as she looked at him.

"Thanks -"

"I booked a room,babe." Amelia looked up.

She was confused. Did he know about her surprise?

"This is a very expensive hotel -" He shut her up with a soft peck.

"I just felt like it,"

He stood up,"I want to see someone."

He placed room key 105 in her hand."Wait for me there," she beamed nervously,he was acting weird.

She, however, finished eating,she felt lightheaded.

She laughed it off as tiredness and walked towards the elevator.

She held her head,it was spinning.She couldn't see clearly as she walked into the suite.

She rushed into the bathroom, splashing water on her face. She managed to walk in, and the door pushed open,blurry.

A man walked in. "Adrian,you are back,"

She spoke softly.The drunk man stared at her with lust.

She was in his suite.

She hugged him.He tensed.

Her eyes were blurry, but she knew this wasn't Adrian.

She had no control over herself.

The drugs kicked in,something to make her desire sex.

She began to remove her dress.She moaned as he held her against him. He was drunk too.

She pulled the stranger towards the bed.

He held her waist.slowly.then firmly as their lips clashed.

When I woke up, the stranger had left.No traces.Adrian and Ella had betrayed me,set me up and i ended up in the wrong suite. I was ashamed of myself. I felt dirty and used.

The stranger .He took my virginity, and I thought I would never see him again.

Yet here he was in front of me.

He was ROMAN VOSS.

"It's you?"

"I.." "you are a fucking spy! I should have known!"

He barked out annoyed.

"No,please,I am innocent,I beg you," I cried out as he slapped me.

"You disgust me!"

"Please,"

He turned to the other man.

"50 lashes,maybe then she would be willing to talk,"

"No,no, please!" I begged in tears,I held his leg as he stood up.

"I am innocent," he kicked me in the stomach,my head hit the wall as I screamed in pain.

Something flashed in his eyes,pity? Doubt?but it was gone immediately.

He stormed out as the man called Damien roughly pulled me against a table,I begged him.

I did.

The first lash hit my back. I screamed in tears.

I had been betrayed by my bestfriend, cheated on by my boyfriend. Now I was paying for a crime.

Why was I paying the price for what I didn't do?

Outside,Roman paused at the door. That night.He still remembered it vividly.
