Alex’s POV

Seeing Ethan today… it did something to me. Something I thought I had buried long ago.

He hadn’t changed much—still tall, broad-shouldered, effortlessly handsome with those piercing eyes that always seemed to see right through me. One polite smile, one quiet “good morning” from him, and it was like my heart forgot how to beat properly.
