MAX’S POV After three days since Amaya got admitted, Flynn finally came. I also reminded him about not bringing along his sister and he was cool about it. I was glad to catch up with the things that happened in his life and to the thought that he’s never been into a relationship since. He explained that he was way too busy to be ready for it but I doubt it wasn’t that. Amaya mentioned to me that, Flynn and she still communicate. I was fine with it, it's just that I know that being busy was not his only reason. The way he looks at Amaya on the hospital bed is still the same. As for being busy, I doubt he would even say yes to my request if that was the case. Vanique and I decided to let Amaya stay in her room in Galiviosa since it is where she might want to be. Also, Flynn and the rest can stay there too since we got all the accommodations. I insisted on providing their perishables but Flynn rejected it. So I never tried to force him. It has been a week since they got here and there a
MAX’S POVIt has been six weeks now since Amaya was still comatose but Flynn has been so positive that he said she’s starting to respond with her heartbeat. I got excited when he said that though and suggested that we should try to converse with her often so it would drive her to wake up. But there is something that has bothered me for a while now and couldn’t just talk about it with Vanique.Though finally, I had this chance with her when we were to attend a business partner’s party as representatives of Galiviosa and Howards. I was pleased to be there with her so we could talk about the last argument we had and maybe cool it off. Yet, how it is odd for her to be looking for someone at this party?“Vanique? Are you okay? Did you seem to be expecting someone?” I asked as I took two glasses of champagne from the waiter who passed right through us and offered one to her.“Yeah, I’m fine- Thank you.” She received the glass and jugged everything at once. Taking sessions with a psychiatris

I may have done a great job controlling my temper all this time but with Amaya like this, I can’t forgive these people. I’m going to have to let them witness my one last shot. If they are gonna keep playing it badly then I’ll play along with them.Let’s spill some blood. It has been three days now since Amaya was awake. We were glad to see her calm down around the female nurses but not around men. It was challenging to try and talk to her because she doesn’t listen to us. She has her own will and that’s not to trust men at all. She couldn’t remember most of the things but one time, Vanique brought her laptop and got her to try to open it. Surprisingly, she was able to get in. So Flynn concluded that she could only remember the things that had already been a routine. Like the time before we even exis
! WARNING!The chapter may include extreme physical torture and a thirst for vengeance that may trigger a traumatic experience for the readers. MAX’S POVI feel like a maniac right now, so powerful. Looking at their crying faces is just satisfying. Yet, they just arrived though so why make it louder then? But it’s no fun if I would just pick up anything from the table and do it myself. That’s when I thought of the idea of betting a thousand dollars on the first person in this room that can shoot one of them in the leg. A bullet in the leg can only paralyze them. It can’t kill them. “Let’s turn on some music, shall we?” I walked near the speaker by the TV and had it on full volume. “So who will be the first? Or do you want me to give a higher price for that?” I asked them as I sat on the single sofa that was placed right in front of the rectangular center table’s end. I looked at Larissa’s face who was mumbling something but couldn’t hear because of the music.I signaled one of the
LARISSA’S POVLooks like I was not exactly prepared for what was about to happen until now. I was suddenly taken away from my party just when I saw an interesting guy eyeing me. It turns out that he was one of them and I took the bait. I was unconscious for a while and I just woke up when I felt like someone was shaking me. I opened my eyes and I saw a man on top of me naked, thrusting back and forth until he was satisfied. I couldn’t focus on what was happening in front of me, I rather look around when I could only see myself inside a storage room. There was not much space for me to even move nor my hand could even have the strength to grab something to fight back. All I can do now is wait. Though how long I have waited feels like forever, especially when there were more of them. I remembered Ken warning me about this but I was stubborn.“Larissa! You don’t know who you’re dealing with! Who knows who Amaya is friends with?!” Ken suddenly shouted inside our apartment after spacing o
AMAYA’S POV I don’t know why I get really anxious with those men when they don’t even seem to harm someone. They were patient with me and was respecting my demands at all costs. But I would always get startled whenever that man suddenly caress my hair while I pretend to be asleep. I tend to wake up at any movements or sounds I hear and as much as I don’t want them to disturb me, it always does. Just like tonight, I heard the door click and noticed a couple of huge shadows looking in my direction. I tried my best not to move for them to notice that I was awake. They weren’t talking at first, but when the other one moved out and walked back in, and was permitted to leave, the next thing I heard was a huge thud on the door and the sound of a man trying to wake up someone named, Flynn. I was guessing that there were a total of three people who owned those shadows and there was only one left. He was now breathing so fast that he sounded like me the first time I woke up with no idea how I
AMAYA’S POVMy question doesn’t seem to faze Ken and just stayed silent the whole time.“I don’t know which devil threatened you not to say anything to me when we both know who the real mistress of evil is. Ken, I want you to be on my side. We can stop whatever it is that she might do to other people.” I said to him while I tried my best to get a single reply from him. But at each minute he stands in front of me without saying anything just pisses me off.“Ken! Talk to me!” I shouted at him which made my blood pressure raise and alarmed my nurse who immediately came to my aid.“Everything has been handled already, Amaya. There is nothing for you to worry about anymore. But if you do want to know what else you could do, is just to make a deal with someone and free that person. I promise you that we will never bother you again-” He was suddenly cut off when Flynn arrived in my room to check on me. He just closed his eyes and waited for everyone to leave. Now I am just even more curious
MAX’S POV Now that Amaya can remember everything, I felt threatened by Flynn’s presence. I know that at first, I may have been okay with it, but right now I am definitely not. His habit of holding Amaya’s hand every night and falling asleep came back. Her anxiety comes back from time to time but she knows when it is us so she can relax. Though right now, when I saw Flynn like that with Amaya caressing his hair- I felt like I wanted to be in his position instead. But who am I to interrupt? I continued walking in as Amaya saw me and smiled. I moved closer to her as we greeted each other with a kiss on each other’s cheek. She doesn’t seem bothered by it but I was- I wanted to slap Flynn’s face awake. I wanted him out of the city right now. “I’m sorry if our wedding had to get delayed because of what happened to me. I hope you weren’t too excited that it got you disappointed.” Amaya sometimes could talk immaturely, she doesn’t realize it but I find it cute that she loses her cool. She
