POV: Heather

“What secret?” I asked him, acting as if I have no idea of what he is talking about. He smiled crookedly, tipping his head to the side and giving me a strange look. I turned away from his eyes, looking anywhere but at him. There is something about those eyes that makes me so uncomfortable. It seems like he can read my mind through my eyes and it’s so annoying and sweet at the same time.

We were inside his room, sitting on the couch. But he still had me in his arms, holding me close to his chest as if I were some kind of a trophy or something. I’ve tried severally to change this position, but he was having it. He feels comfortable having me in his arms this way, rubbing my ass and caressing my back as often as he desires. It’s not as if I wasn’t enjoying it as well, but I just don’t feel comfortable with us being this intimate. If he can get into my head from a distance, what would he do when I’m this close to him?
