She has seen darkness before, the kind that makes our street like an old fashioned photograph, everything a shade of grey. This isn't like that. This is the darkness that robs you of your best sense and replaces it with a paralyzing fear. In this darkness, she sits, muscles cramped and unable to move. She only knows her eyes are still there because she can feel herself blink, still instinctively moisturizing the organs she has no current use for. She can't hear anything either. She guessed that should bring her heart rate down below the level of "rabbit in a snare" but it doesn't. By her genes she is a predator, she has the front-facing eyes and brain enough to hunt, but she feels like prey in this utter black. The dawn is many hours away and until that precious time, she can only wait. She doesn't know how long she's been like this, but whatever it is, it can't be good! She remembers the lady injecting something into her. The last thing she remembers was the faint voice and smell of 'him!' After trying to open her eyes with all her strength, she finally came out of the dark world just to find herself in a room different from the last one.
She didn't have to think hard to find out where she was, because the room was filled with his intoxicating scent, and the man was there, too. Standing on the balcony with both of his hands deep inside his pockets, his shirt sleeves were folded up to his elbow. Even when he was fully dressed, she could see how well he was built! Soon she felt him turning, so she closed her eyes as if she were still asleep. She wanted to avoid talking to him at any cost, her heartbeat was increasing rapidly with every step he took towards her. She's been trying her best to calm down her beating heart, as she knows how sharp lycans hearing is. She almost felt her training, and centuries of experience betrayed her, as her heart won't stop beating so quickly. She felt him approaching her, and she could feel him bending over and soon she felt his hot breath over her face as his scent and warmth engulfed her.
Before she could think of anything else, his soft lips touched her forehead, and the sparks ran all over her body, and her heart finally calmed down. Her body was filled with the blissful warmth she had never found in this cold world, it wasn't like no one hadn't kissed her before, but it was different... so different. Her beast was purring like a cat inside, with the simple, sweet gesture of their mate. The moment was short-lived as her source of warmth rose and left the room. After a soft thud of the door, she opened her eyes. She sat down slowly on the bed, stretching out her limbs, looking around the room to find it empty, as she thought it would be. She rubbed her face with her hand, combed her hair with her fingers. She got out of the duvet to find her bare legs. Her eyes widened as she found herself in an oversized grey t-shirt that ended in the middle of her thigh. She only wore her underwear under her t-shirt. She just knew by the smell who it belonged to. She unconsciously hugged herself, thinking maybe her mate, who she didn't even talk to or look directly at for a minute, changed her clothes. She felt the heat moving towards her cheeks, making them red. It was an emotion she never felt. Her beast was floating her head with intimate thoughts and photos that made her turn red and scoop her to stop. She shakes her head and throws away pictures her beast had drawn.
Walking towards the door, she locked it from the inside and made her way to another door, the bathroom. Standing in front of the vanity mirror, she saw more than a few bandages on her face. She peeled off the large bandage that was sitting on her forehead, and the wound was healed. One by one, she took all the bandages off. Her face had no sign of injury, everything was completely healed. Staying away from her husband and going to the heat took a toll on her, making her suffer and also dangerously reducing her healing ability. After washing her face and doing her business, she got out and headed for another door leading her inside Aiden's walk-in closet. The closest one was filled with neatly folded clothes. His closet consists mainly of three colours, including black, white and grey. She found some navy-blue occasionally. Shuffling through her, she took some big sweatpants and a black hoodie. Well, the fact that she doesn't have any clothes here, and obviously she can't just wear a t-shirt that she's wearing, the big bad Alpha won't mind, she thought.
She walked out of the closet to the balcony. It was dark outside, and she stood at the very spot where Aiden was standing a while ago.
A soft cold breeze touched her face blowing her red hair slightly. She looked up to see the sky was black tranquillity married to a poetry of stars. It was the softness that called body and brain to rest and let the heart go to its steady rhythm. Night came as a reward of sorts, a restfulness above to calm the soul.
She looked down briefly to find the grassy lawn and the woods. This is when she came back to her senses! She can't be right here! They will come to know who she is, they're going to hunt her down! She's got to leave right now. With the thought of leaving behind her mate, her beast whimpered and scolded her to dare not think about it. But she knew she had to leave right now. She went back to the closet to find some sneakers that were obviously huge for her feet, but still, she took them and went back to the balcony. Slipping in the sneakers, she looked back at the room and looked down. She said a little spell under her breath.
"Incaendo!"
And the room wall lit up with fire in the twinkling of an eye, burning all the pictures and frames, including its scent, and covering up its human-like scent with smoke. Taking a deep breath, she jumped out of the balcony with a flip piercing through the air she gracefully landed on her feet. Without delay, she ran into the forest at an inhuman rate, taking out her demon. In no time was she on the border of the territory of the Royal Pack. Looking back, she left the pack and her mate behind!

The air that had been so still on previous days had gained a slight movement, as if it had discovered its direction yet was content to meander at its own pace. The breeze flirted with her loose hair as she was standing on the wide balcony. She looks up to the sky, another cloudy night rolls in covering the last of the twilight sky as if the blackness failed to come fast enough. The rolling grey rapidly becomes as invisible as the stars it conceals, but the air still feels humid.
It's been a week, a horrible week for both her and her beast. She has total control over her other powers, but her beast is out of her hands, she can't suppress any pain, nor can she control her beast. She had to go through endless tortures by her master, endless killings, and be pushed to the brink of being caught. There's always this pain in the depths of her heart that doesn't seem to stop. She let out a deep sigh and walked back to the ballroom where a party was going on. She didn't have any interest in these, but the orders of her masters were to attend. She moves to the bar and sits down.
"Master is looking for you now!" A heavy voice boomed from behind her.
"Where is he?" She asked in a boring tone.
"He is at the table." She nodded and walked away to where her master was standing, talking to a bunch of people. She knew them, and she knew all of them. The so-called upper-class influencers of high society. The close circle of the current King. They were just a pathetic excuse of being she thought.
As soon as she reached them, a male figure alongside her master whispered something on his ear, and he looked at her way, "Ah, where you were sweetheart, I was looking for you." He wrapped her in a hug and whispered in her ears, "Kill the third old hag!" He pulled away, and she smiled and said,
"I was just at the bar, Uncle." He gave a false smile and nodded.
"I called you to tell you that I was leaving. Enjoy yourself." He patted her shoulder with a tight smile and left.
As her master leaves, she turns back to a group of men chatting in front of her. She smiles and enters into a conversation with them as she has no other choice. Soon most of the men have left to talk to others, and now only she and the Third Council Member are there. She needs to take him somewhere secluded so that she can proceed to assassinate him.
"So young lady looks like you're stuck with this old man here." She lets out a small chuckle
"I don't mind really."
"Young lady like you should get a young company, you know what I mean?"
"Well, young people bore me." She replies and he lets out a laugh.
"Well....ah you have to excuse me."
He's looking past her and he's starting to move in that direction. She let out a frustrated little growl thinking she's going to have to talk to him again! She was moving back to the balcony, that intoxicating scent reaches her nostrils, making her beast go crazy. She's looking back from where the scent came, and her breath was being caught on her throat,
"Oh, no, no. Not him!"

"Your Highness," came a deep shaky, male voice from behind. "Let me guess, you haven't found her." He said it without glancing back. "N-no Your Highness." Before the man could blink, he was pinned to the wall by his neck. Prince Aiden squeezing his neck like it was a stress ball, "How did a girl despair under your nose? huh?" He asked, in an incredibly calm voice, that sent cold shivers down the man's spine. His eyes were blood-red mixed with gold yellow, indicating his beast was at bay. "I-uh" His voice came out to be scrambled "Who made you the head warrior again? And what's your job when you're at the border? Do remind me again, will you." Aiden said clenching his jaw. The head warrior tried to wiggle out of his strong grip, but it was in vain. He could not answer as his throat was being crushed. "Did she just vanish in thin air?" He asked him again. The head warrior was now gasping for air as his lungs were g
(The conversation between the beast and their human form is talking with one's subconscious. Beast can not talk in human form when they take over the body) "Why does this have to happen to me?" She said loudly as she began to run into the forest. She took off and threw away her heels as she cursed her mate, "I'm going to make sure you fucking pay well if I Lose these pair of Louis Vuitton, you fucking Prince!" She took the medium train of her dress and started running as fast as she could, as she heard thuds of paws hitting the ground. It did not take her long to understand that they were after her. She tried to run faster, but she found herself slowing down, pushing herself to use her Vampire speed, but she couldn't reach her Vampire side as her beast kept blocking her. Her beast was forcing her to shift. She kept
"What have they done to you! I'm so sorry love!" Looking at his mate's condition, Prince Aiden said in a sorrowful tone. He removed his jacket and wrapped it around his injured comrade, who was staring at him with wide eyes. He pulled her closer to him, protectively wrapping his arm around her. The heat emitted by him was soothing to her. His voice sounded concerned, but wasn't he the one who instructed his warriors to capture her? She thought to herself. "Do you know what the sentencing is for assaulting your future Luna? or should I help you in recollecting?" His voice had a dangerously low and deep tone to it. Implying that his beast was ready to attack and rip off anyone who dared to lay their filthy hands on his mate. "But she is the one who killed five of ou
The light grew steadily outside until the curtains glowed just the same as stained glass. She stuck her head behind the fabric to survey what the day might bring. The grassy yard was slick with water, though the puddles remained quite still, no hint of rain still falling. Above the clouds were still grey but without the denseness of yesterday, allowing patches of blue to form. She walked back to her bed and sat down. The horizon was just beginning to take on gold hues, and the sun had not yet risen. She awoke an hour ago, having gotten the most sleep she had in years. There was still an hour until dawn. Throughout the hour, she tried to find her way out of this castle, or at least out of this room. She still can't believe The Prince put metal bars on the balcony, preventing her from jumping out. Did she mention the guards
It's been quite a few hours since the Alpha abandoned her in his bedroom. With each passing second, her impatience grew. She attempted to break through the door, but the guards stationed outside appear to be uninterested about her existence. She finally takes in the room after being in it for the third time. In the center of the room is a California King-size bed. A dark-grey duvet with simple white designs, a few puffy pillows, one of which bears the palace emblem, a dark marble fireplace flanked by a lounging chair of black and gold velvet, and another set of chairs placed in the massive balcony with white curtains on the door and massive tall windows. The black and grey coloured walls are flawless; there is no trace of the fire she had set the last time she managed to run.

After a silent hour of driving, Prince Aiden pulls over in front of a small cafe in Alpharetta. Prince Aiden exits the car, and before Ariel can open the door, he rushes to her side and opens it for her. Helping her out of the car, they walked into the cafe with a swarm of guards following them. The cafeteria appeared to be cozy with a few people inside. The colors of the cafe adapted to the light as if they were once afraid to greet the rays. Cafe tables adorn the sun-kissed grey as if placed at the tip of an artist's brush. Prince Aiden led her to a corner table near the window, and the guards who were following them sat around them just across the other rows to give them privacy. After they had taken their seats, a waitress came over with the menus."I'll be
