Chapter 9 - The Twilight of Revenge
Sirens and Mermaids are nemeses since the beginning of time. Although they live in the same environment, their personalities are like oil and water. The latter is known to be gentle and kind while the former is alluring and mischievous in nature.
In a flash, her tail vanished and a pair of feet came into sight. She glared at me with her cobalt blue eyes and furiously marched in my direction. My maid grabbed my wrist as she stood before me, protecting me with her body from my origin's arch-enemy. Everyone knows that mermaids and sirens never get along. Now, I get the reason why my blood would never be calm around her. She stared intensely at my maid and gardener who were present in the situation and parted her lips.
