Chapter 13

Atasha's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I held my pounding head and then force myself to get up. I walk towards the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror then let out a deep breath to wash my face. I felt sticky so I decided to clean myself and take a quick bath. When I am done I stepped out of the room and walked towards the kitchen.

I saw Conrad's firm back and even though I already saw his bare back I can't help but be amazed at how well-built his muscles are.

"Good morning," he uttered after a while which made me jump a little. I thought he isn't aware that I am standing behind him but I guess I underestimated his senses.

I swallowed hard then greeted back.

"Good morning," I responded then walked towards the refrigerator to get bottled water.

I lean my back at the sink while drinking the water and stealing glances at Conrad. I choked when he caught me and our eyes met so I immediately look away and wipe some water that I had spit out.

"Are you okay?" he asked
