Domini walked in almost oblivious to the tension in the room, or maybe he was just ignoring it.
"Are you serious?" I muttered as he quickly glanced around realizing we were all upset.
All three of us were glaring at Domini, and I assumed for the same reason.
“What?” He asked fanning ignorance.
“Where’s the other guy?” Micheal asked in an uninterested tone but I smiled slyly knowing that he did like him.
“Ah, well Alpha Victor wanted to speak to him privately.”
I raised my eyebrows as I felt concerned for Dimitri’s welfare, images of Victor allowing his sister to be injured reminding me of the man he was.
“I’m sure he will be fine,” Domini said with a grin that did not touch his eyes, not helping the worry building inside me.

We all funneled into the hall, I felt a surge of anticipation and awe as I looked around. The main entrance was much larger than the outside let you believe, portraits lined the walls of every wolf that our pack had ever completed the transformation. “Okay! Everyone, please sit and relax as much as you can!” Mr. Marks called out as we all gave our attention to him.
