“No… it’s can’t be true…” She whispered as Victor glared at her before glancing at me, worried.
“What? What does that mean?!” I asked as Victor picked up another shirt covering the mark.
“It means…” Victor sighed, pained.
“That I am your second mate.”
I stared blankly at him as Rebbeka looked between us horrified and confused.
“As in... my second chance mate?” I asked hopeful, yet understanding what this really meant….
“No…” Rebbeka said softly, her eyes flicking back to my mark. “It means you have more than one.”
I looked at Victor, my heart hurting at his jealous and pained expression. I didn’t want this…

Hello everyone, I am sorry if this chapter update disappoints any of you as I am unable to reply/comment on chapters at the moment due to problems with my phone. Essentially, if you missed my last comment I have been having the worst luck recently, my laptop decided to play up (wouldn't turn on etc), my phone is an older model so I can not rely on that to update chapters so had left a previous comment advising that until I can get my laptop in a better state I am unable to update chapters.
