He saw the tears swimming in her eyes and no matter how much he hated, he cared for them. Her reddened eyes and flushed face made him hiss in vex. They made him feel miserable not because she was that frustrating mate of his who left no chance to piss him off, but because she acted as if she was to blame.
Indeed it was her who got his sister abducted yet Zander could not hold her wrong.
How can he accuse her when they knew a threat was lingering around for the cubs of the pack?
