Chapter 28 – Realization
Wayne was momentarily stunned. What just happened? Ah, his expression. He caught his reflection on a mantelpiece. He might have scared her. He felt something squeeze his heart as he heard her sobbing. It’s clear she’s trying hard to suppress herself.
“Andrea, open the door. Please.” He asked after walking over and standing in front of it. He managed to make his voice gentler.
