“Sleep, we’ll be right here waiting for you,” Seth said softly as he eased me down onto the bed.

“I… I can sleep by myself,” I mumbled, feeling super uncomfortable with all three of them in the same room. Even this huge bedroom in their pack house felt way too small with them here.

“No way. I’m not leaving you alone,” Hunter said in that commanding alpha tone. “Me, Seth, and Zan. We’re staying right here to watch over you. If you need anything in the middle of the night, we’ll be here.” Both of his twin brothers nodded in agreement.

I let out a long sigh and looked at each of them in turn. “Don’t you guys want to just… reject me? You know my reputation. You know my family’s reputation.”

I wasn’t ready for any of this. Not ready to be the mate of the three most popular alphas around, and definitely not ready for all the drama and hate that came with it. Oh yeah—and becoming public enemy number one? Hard pass.

“Maybe my brothers would reject you,” Zane said, leaning down so his face was close to mine, eyes locked on me, fingertips brushing my cheek. “But me? I’m always down to be your mate, Inka.”

“Zane, cut it out. Why are you spouting bullshit? And stop jumping the gun,” Hunter snapped.

Zane straightened up and raised both hands in mock surrender. “Sorry.”

Next thing I knew, Hunter dragged a chair from the corner and parked it right beside the bed. He sat backward on it, arms folded over the backrest, chin resting on them, staring at me like I was his new favorite toy. And somehow… that sweet, intense look from Hunter made something inside me twitch.

“What? Why are you staring like that?”

“It’s not me,” he chuckled. “It’s my wolf.”

Then....of course, the other two copied him. They each grabbed a chair, positioned it beside the bed, and sat the exact same way.

“Oh my god,” I groaned. “There’s no way I can sleep with you guys doing this.”

“Need a cuddle?” Hunter whispered.

“We could stroke your hair until you fall asleep?” Zane chimed in.

“Or I could read you a bedtime story?” Zane added with a teasing grin.

“I just want you all to leave me alone,” I begged.

All three of them shook their heads at the same time. “Nope.”

Seth stood up and gently fixed my blanket. “Go to sleep. We promise we won’t do anything without your permission.”

“Yeah, just close your eyes, Inka. We’re good wolf boys… unless your heat hits tonight,” Zane said innocently, dropping that line like it was nothing.

My whole body prickled. I glanced out the window. Rain had stopped, and the full moon was hanging bright in the sky. Heat. Of course. No wonder my body was already starting to feel feverish. The heat always came right when you found your mates.

I stopped arguing with the three of them staring at me. I just tried to close my eyes before the heat took over completely—before I lost control and did the things I usually did alone during heat. No way was I masturbating in front of these three guys.

***

“Oh fuck…”

I was in the middle of the room, legs tied up in the air, completely naked. Hunter’s face was buried between my thighs. Seth had my clit locked under his fingers, driving me wild, while Zane sucked hard on my nipple.

Moon Goddess, what is this…

I felt like I was exploding, cumming over and over, and couldn’t stop moaning—

“Inka… Inka… wake up.”

Hunter’s voice jolted me awake.

My eyes flew open.

What the—?

Hunter’s gaze dropped to my lap. My pajama pants were shoved down, my own hand between my legs, fingers still on my clit. Fuck. Shit. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

“Inka, you’ve got us. You don’t have to do it alone,” Zane said, sounding actually pissed.

God, I wanted the floor to swallow me whole. If my leg wasn’t stitched up and messed up, I’d already be running out of here.

“W-what do you mean?” I played dumb.

Zane touched my skin. “You’re in heat. Your body’s burning up.”

My face flamed. I tried to sit up and yank the blanket over myself. “No.”

“We can feel it, Inka. Don’t lie,” Zane murmured, gently stroking my arm. Those sharp eyes never left me.

I didn’t even notice Hunter move until he was right beside me. He caught my chin and guided my mouth to his. The kiss started slow, warm and soft lips against mine.

I froze for a second, but the heat roaring through me made resistance impossible. My body answered on instinct, kissing him back hesitantly at first, then deeper. His tongue slipped in, tangled with mine, pulling a soft moan out of me between shaky breaths.

“Inka… let us help you,” Hunter whispered when he pulled back just enough to speak. His dark, hungry eyes pinned me. His big hand trailed down my arm, leaving fire in its wake.

Before I could answer, Zane was on my other side. He tugged the blanket out of my death grip and let it fall. “No need to be shy, baby. We’re your mates. It’s our job to take care of your heat.” His voice was low, teasing, as his fingers traced my jaw, down my throat, over my chest.

Seth, who’d been quietly watching, finally moved. He sat at the foot of the bed, carefully touching my injured leg, avoiding the stitches.

“We won’t hurt you, Inka. Just want to make you feel good,” he said, calm but burning.

Hunter kissed me again—deeper, hungrier this time. His hand slid under my pajama top, skimming my stomach, circling my navel until I squirmed. “You’re so hot… so ready,” he muttered against my lips.

Zane wasn’t about to be outdone. He leaned in, lips brushing my ear, hot breath making me shiver. “Let me touch you here,” he whispered, hand sliding to the side of my breast, thumb grazing my already hard nipple through the thin fabric.

I moaned, back arching without thinking, chasing more. Zane smirked, then pushed my top up, exposing my chest to the cool air. His mouth closed over one nipple immediately—sucking slow, tongue swirling—while his hand kneaded the other, firm but careful.

“Oh… Zane…” The sound slipped out before I could stop it. Everything felt a hundred times stronger because of the heat. My body was on fire and their hands were gasoline.

Seth moved slowly, deliberately. His hand slid up my leg, fingers brushing the inside of my thigh before slipping under the waistband of my pants. “You’re so wet, Inka,” he rasped, eyes never leaving my face.

His fingers found my clit, rubbing tiny circles that made my whole body jerk. “Let me ease it… nice and slow.”

Hunter broke the kiss to drag his mouth down my neck, nipping lightly and leaving what would definitely be visible marks tomorrow.

Hunter's hand joined Seth’s, fingers sliding inside my pussy. “You’re ours now, Inka.”

INKA'S POV In the kitchen Zane set a perfect espresso in front of me. “Temperature is just right.” Hunter slid a plate of tiramisu over. “Try.” I took a slow bite. Rich. Decadent. Sinful. “Amazing.” Hunter’s eyes flared. “Yes?” “Really amazing.” “I make good tiramisu too,” Seth said quietly. “I could” “Good,” Hunter said, leaning across the island until his lips were inches from mine. “Because I want to feed you like this every night. I want to watch your tongue wrap around every bite I give you.” My thighs squeezed together. Zane sat beside me, hand finding mine. “We are going to spend our lives proving you are everything.” Seth stepped closer. “Please. Five minutes” “No,” I said. Calm. Final. Seth stumbled back. “You heard her,” Hunter said, voice lethal. “She said no,” Zane added, colder. Seth’s face crumpled. “I was wrong” “Wrong does not erase what you did,” I said softly. Our eyes met. Through the bond it crashed over me again: regret so d

Downstairs smelled insane. Three different kinds of pasta. Fresh bread still warm from the oven. Garlic and herbs and tomatoes. And tiramisu sitting on the counter that looked almost illegal. "You made all this?" I stared at the spread covering the dining table. Hunter pulled out a chair. "Sit." "That's not an answer." "Sit," he repeated. Softer this time. "Please." I sat. Zane took the seat beside me. Hunter disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a glass of water. "Drink." Not a request. I drank. Both of them watched my throat work with every swallow. "Good girl," Hunter murmured. The praise hit me like a physical touch. Heat spread between my thighs. Seth appeared in the doorway. He looked wrecked. "Inka, I..." "Can you pass the bread?" I asked Hunter brightly. Seth's face crumpled. He sat down anyway. At the far end of the table. Hunter started loading my plate. Way too much food. "That's excessive..." "You need your strength back." Hi

INKA'S POV Dr. Martinez let me go after two days. The triplets were waiting in the hallway. Hunter moved first. He always did. His fingers slid into my hair, tucking a strand behind my ear. Then his thumb traced my jaw, slow and deliberate, before dragging across my bottom lip. "Hey," he said. Just that. But the way he looked at me... made my stomach flip. Zane took my bag before I could protest. "You're not carrying anything." "It's literally just..." "I've got it." His hand settled on my lower back, fingers spreading wide. Possessive. "Let us take care of you, Inka." Meanwhile Seth stood by the window. He looked like he hadn't slept. Our eyes met for half a second before I looked away. Not today, Seth. I'm still too angry. *** The car ride started quiet. I sat in the back between Zane and Seth. Hunter drove, but his eyes kept finding mine in the rearview mirror. Not checking traffic. Checking me. My mouth. My throat. The way my thin shirt clung after two days in a hospi

INKA'S POVI was floating in nothingness. Not in water. Not in air. Just suspended in empty space that felt neither cold nor warm. The darkness didn't scare me. It was quiet here. Peaceful. Like being wrapped in the world's heaviest blanket that somehow had no weight at all.Maybe this was what dying felt like.I should probably panic. But I was too tired. Tired of running, of being the walking disaster everyone blamed, of hearing "curse" every time someone looked at me.Maybe Seth was right. Maybe everyone would be better off if I just disappeared."Child."The voice rolled in from everywhere at once.Golden light bloomed in the darkness. Not harsh. Warm. A woman stepped out of the light.No...she was the light itself.I recognized her somehow. Not from photographs or stories Dad refused to tell. From somewhere deeper. ZANE'S POV"Your brother is in pain," Dr. Martinez said quietly, returning to work on Inka. "People say things they don't mean when they're scared.""He meant every word.""Perhaps." The doctor was quiet for a moment. "But better you go see Hunter. I'll take care of her.""I can't leave her—""Zane." His voice was firm but kind. "There's nothing you can do here right now. She needs surgery to repair the damage. That will take time. Your brother is awake and asking for you. Go. I'll call you the second anything changes."Every instinct I had screamed at me to stay. To not leave her. But Hunter was awake and Hunter needed me too."Save her," I said, my voice breaking. "Please.""I'll do everything I can." ZANE'S POVI ran through the dark streets with Inka limp in my arms, her head lolling against my shoulder, her breathing too shallow, too slow."Stay with me," I kept saying, over and over like a prayer. "Please, baby, stay with me."She didn't respond. Her skin was cold. Too cold. The clinic lights burned bright ahead. I kicked through the doors, nearly knocking them off their hinges."DR.
