Chapter 51.3 - Failure

This vampire smirked, and immediately kicked Kevin until his body crashed into the priest who was beside him. Pine was pushed and hit the wall, then instantly restrained her inner elbow which was constantly bleeding from the open wound, due to the forcibly released injection.

Pine lowered her head, and her hand scratched the icy floor with her fingernail as the pain started to creep up. The transformation ceremony had failed and Pine felt her body was now in the abyss. Thousands of needles seemed to pierce her body, she was really in pain.

"Arrrggghhh..." Pine groaned. "This... really... hurts...! My body feels torn apart!!!" she thought.

Kevin realized Pine's screams, and he immediately got up and approached her. But Kevin was knocked back when this man kicked him again. This uninvited vampire didn't let Kevin get anywhere near Pine.

"Heh..." he sneered. “You won't be able to get close to this human. She's not yours."

Pine curled up, her face turned pale, and her fingers kept clawing
