Alaric's POV

Immediately I got into the car, I felt the urge to go back to her, but at this point, I knew I had to let go.

We shouldn't have left her. She's our mate, my wolf growled.

He had been silent since the rejection, and finally, he spoke. I guess he, too, was feeling the absence of his mate already.

"I fucking know that," I growled. "Can you not add to my worries? I'm very well aware of that. We can't do much," I said calmly this time.

"We? It can only be you. We've discussed runni

Alaric POVThe Luna coronation ceremony was finally here. After all the preparation, the day had finally arrived.Deep down, I didn't want it to happen. My mind was far away from whatever was going on around me. I could see Freya all over the place, smiling and talking to everyone. I guess she was happy now.She had gotten exactly what she wanted. She was finally going to be crowned Luna and everyone seemed happy too.The pack members were dressed beautifully, the hall was decorated, and everyone was gathered to witness the ceremony.Music filled the air as people laughed and celebrated. But I couldn't bring myself to feel happy.Every single day, I found another reason to despise Freya, and it was crazy seeing her every day. Just looking at her fueled more anger inside me.I couldn't stop thinking about Elena.Where was she? Was she safe? Was she eating? Was someone taking care of her?I had banished her and had watched her leave the pack now I was standing here, preparing to crown a

General POVThe older woman froze.Hayden stood at the doorway, his eyes immediately falling on her before shifting to Elena, who was still fast asleep."What are you doing?" His voice was low.The woman quickly stepped away from the bed."Alpha, I—""What are you doing in her room?" He growled lowly in order for Elena not to wake up.She swallowed hard."I noticed something on her shoulder earlier."Hayden's brows furrowed."What?""A birthmark." His expression changed slightly."What birthmark?" The woman hesitated before walking closer to him."Come and see."Hayden walked into the room and approached the bed.The woman gently pulled down the neckline of Elena's clothes, revealing more of the large birthmark on her shoulder.A strange feeling spread through his chest, one he couldn't explain. He had never met this woman before she was brought to his pack.Yet looking at her now felt strangely familiar.Almost like he had known her before. His eyes narrowed."Where did you see this?

  • Quadruplets For The Alpha   Chapter 9

Alaric's POV The marking and coronation ceremony had already been fixed. It was in two days. I was really stressed with the preparations, along with the supplies and other things we lacked in the pack. I was already in my office, but concentrating felt like I was wrestling with myself. "Let me go in!" I heard a scream from outside the door. "We'll have to send a call across to him first." "What's the essence? He's literally here, so what's the need?" Soon, the door was suddenly pushed open, and Lauren, Elena's best friend, barged in. "Oh, he's here." "Where's my best friend? It's been days. Her phone is unreachable, and I've not spoken to her." "I want to see her!" she screamed. "Calm down, Lauren. Let's talk." She rolled her eyes and sat down. I motioned for the guards to leave. "So?" she asked. I heaved a heavy breath and glanced at her. She had an expression that screamed, What's the problem? I looked away from her. "I banished her." It was a hard

Do you know how crazy that sounds?" "I don't care, as long as I get to be with my mate." "You know that would affect you, right? You're literally going to be..." I paused. "I can't shift if I do that. And you know that if I get stripped of my Alpha title for running away, what's the point? What good am I to you if I'm not able to protect my mate?" "Then what if she's in danger right now?" he snarled. "Yeah, I don't know

  • Quadruplets For The Alpha   Chapter 7

Elena's POV It was a man. He had striking honey-colored eyes that stood out against his tanned skin, with long dark hair resting on his broad shoulders. His muscular frame was hard to ignore, and intricate tattoos covered both of his arms, disappearing beneath his shirt. A small silver stud adorned one of his ears, giving him a rugged yet refined appearance. He carried himself with effortless confidence, the kind that made it clear he wasn't someone to be underestimated. He was every bit as tall and powerfully built as Alaric, but his honey-colored eyes gave him a completely different aura. He simply stood there, watching me with an unreadable expression and the faintest hint of a smirk. "Who are you?" I asked curiously. "I'm Alpha Hayden. My pack members found you at the borders of the pack, bleeding profusely, and brought you here." "Oh," I mouthed. "Thank you." "Well, don't thank me yet. You'll be taken to the dungeon once you've recovered. I don't allow unknown people to

  • Quadruplets For The Alpha   Chapter 6

Elena's POVHe looked at me with pity. I already knew what that meant."Yes, it does.""Then go ahead with the transfusion. Why waste any more time?"I knew I had to do it this time. It wasn't as though I had a choice, and refusing would only create more problems. With the doctor leading the way and Alaric following closely behind, I walked into the hospital room. The transfusion began. As my blood slowly left my body, I felt my strength draining with it. A wave of dizziness crashed over me, making my vision blur. My limbs grew unbearably heavy, and even lifting a finger felt impossible. My skin turned pale, my breathing became shallow, and a cold chill crept through my body. I felt so weak... so empty.By the time it was over, I could barely keep my eyes open. My legs refused to support me, and I swayed where I sat, utterly exhausted, as though every ounce of life had been drained from me.††††I woke up to water being poured over me.It was Freya."I didn't know the powerful woman w
