Chapter 41

A groan left Lorraine's dry throat as she regained her consciousness after passing out from losing too much blood. Her eyes fluttered open as her brows frowned due to the bright light. Once her eyes adjusted and her vision cleared up, she was then staring up at the ceiling trying to figure out what had happened and where she was currently staying. As her body moved to sit up, another groan erupted from her lips as a sharp pain shot through her shoulder and abdomen, "I wouldn't get up if I were you," said an unknown voice that made Lorraine furrowed as she carefully lifted her upper body to look at the unknown stranger.
