Damien's Pov

I stuttered, trying to get up from the sleep I was unable to get, for the hours that passed through the night, it was really awful. I should at least get some sleep but couldn’t. The noise out there in the outer compound got into my head and I fastened my steps to get outside.

“I should check on Amelia first.” I thought. Changing my direction to her room, I knocked and got no response.

“She might be in the bathroom, but it’s just five in the morning”

“What? Ethan, were you following me?”

“It’s not just you that can't sleep, Alpha. I watched you come out of your room. The boys are ready to leave but you don’t seem ready.”

“I’ll come back to that later, let’s find Amelia first.”

“She’s not a kid, she's probably still resting.”

I knocked harder, ignoring Ethan’s words, if Amelia gets out of my grip, anyone behind it will be punished. I’ve brought down my anger and fast judgment all because of my mother.
