CHAPTER SEVENTY: FANTASY

God, why do I have to be such a hoe?

I mean, honestly, I’m not a hoe, I just have fun. But why did I have to have fun with these three, and now find myself sitting with them around a fire pit, drinking cold brews at this overly large house at the edge of the city, filled with people ready to make some very questionable mistakes?

The dark green cushions of the patio set are very comfortable. I sit on a long chair, Alyssa beside me. I can tell she is in her element here, as she has her shoes off, tucking her feet and legs underneath her behind. She stares me directly in the face as we talk more about her photo shoots. I engage with her, laughing and joking, attempting to block out my current stalkers. We’ve been here for less than an hour, but they haven’t dared to say anything. They just watch in silence.
