Fiona’s POV

I couldn’t believe that Rex had actually stood before my father and accused me.

When the news reached me, I remained seated on the edge of my bed for several moments, unable to make sense of what I had just heard. My mind kept returning to the same thought, as though repeating it enough times might somehow make it less painful.

Rex had accused me.

Not a servant.

Not a jealous noblewoman.

Not one of the palace officials who had been whispering behind my back.

Rex.

My fiancé.

The man

Fiona’s POVI couldn’t believe that Rex had actually stood before my father and accused me.When the news reached me, I remained seated on the edge of my bed for several moments, unable to make sense of what I had just heard. My mind kept returning to the same thought, as though repeating it enough times might somehow make it less painful.Rex had accused me.Not a servant. Not a jealous noblewoman. Not one of the palace officials who had been whispering behind my back.Rex.My fiancé.The man who was supposed to know me better than most people in this kingdom. The man who had once promised to stand beside me.I had lived through this once before, yet some foolish part of me had still hoped that this life would be different. I had spent so much time questioning my memories, wondering whether I had been too quick to judge him because of what happened in my previous life. Perhaps circumstances had been different. Perhaps the man I remembered was not the same man standing before me now.

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 41:THE ACCUSATION

Alpha Ambrose’s POVI was surprised when I heard my daughter’s fiancé was seeking my audience shortly after Lilian had left my study. I had barely finished processing the betrayal that had spewed from her mouth when the guard informed me that Rex was waiting outside. For a moment, I simply stared at the closed door.Lilian’s visit had already given me more than I expected. She had come pretending to be concerned about Fiona, but beneath every carefully chosen word was an attempt to make me question my daughter. She had spoken about Fiona’s behavior, her interactions with the Lycan King, and the possibility that she was hiding something from me. She had never directly accused her, but she had not needed to. Her intention had been obvious. And now Rex was here.I wondered what he was on now.“Send him in.”The guard opened the door, and Rex stepped into the study with a solemn expression. He bowed respectfully before approaching the desk.“Your Majesty.”“Rex.”He remained standing unti

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 40:THE PRICE OF TRUST

Chapter 40: The Price of Trust Alpha Ambrose’s POV Trust was a dangerous thing. When given to the right person, it could build kingdoms, strengthen families, and create alliances that lasted for generations. But when given to the wrong person, it became a weapon. I had learned that lesson long before I became an Alpha. Yet there was something different about trusting the people closest to my daughter. Lilian had been part of Fiona’s life for years. She had eaten at our table, attended family celebrations, walked through these palace corridors as though they belonged to her, and stood beside Fiona through countless moments. That familiarity made betrayal difficult to imagine. But difficult was not the same as impossible. I sat behind my desk that evening, reading through the latest report from Dan. There wasn’t much. The investigation had confirmed that the rumors had spread shortly after the Lycan King’s departure, but the source remained unclear. Several servants had repea

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 39:A FRIENDS DEFENSE

Lilian’s POV The rumors had grown far beyond what I had expected. At first, they had been nothing more than whispers exchanged between servants and noblewomen. Something people could deny ever saying if they were confronted. Now they had begun reaching the council members. That was dangerous. Not because I regretted what I had done. I didn’t. The danger was that if the whispers became too wild, people might start looking for their source instead of believing the story itself. And I couldn’t allow that. I needed to control the direction of the conversation. More importantly, I needed to make sure that when people looked at me, they saw exactly what I wanted them to see. A concerned friend. A loyal companion. Someone who would never betray Fiona. I found the opportunity that morning when I entered the palace courtyard and heard two noble ladies speaking in hushed voices. “I heard the princess has been behaving strangely since the Lycan King’s departure.” “I heard someth

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 38:THE BRIDGE

Investigator Dan’s POV By the following morning, I had already decided where I wanted to begin. The eastern corridor. It was the only useful lead we had. A servant had remembered hearing two women discussing Princess Fiona shortly after the Lycan King’s departure, but she had been unable to identify either of them. It wasn’t enough to make an accusation, but it was enough to give me a place to start. I spent the first hour questioning the servants who worked in that section of the palace. Most of them had heard something about the rumors, but none could tell me where they had begun. Some had heard them in the kitchens, others in the servants’ quarters, while a few claimed the noblewomen had been discussing them long before the servants ever heard about them. The story seemed to be everywhere. Yet the beginning remained hidden. Eventually, I found the maid who had been working near the eastern corridor on the day the Lycan King departed. Her name was Clara. I had spoken to her

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 37 :THE INVESTIGATION BEGINS

Alpha Ambrose’s POV I didn’t sleep well that night. Fiona’s words kept returning to me, especially the way she had looked at me when she told me she didn’t understand why everyone had suddenly begun treating her differently. She hadn’t sounded angry. She hadn’t even sounded defensive. She had sounded hurt. That was what bothered me most. My daughter had been walking through her own home for days feeling as though she no longer belonged there, and I had been too occupied with the affairs of the kingdom to notice. But there was something else I couldn’t ignore. The rumors. After Fiona left my study, I remained seated for a long time, thinking about everything she had told me. She had denied that anything inappropriate had happened between her and the Lycan King, and I believed her. There had been no hesitation in her answer, no frantic attempt to explain herself, no inconsistency in her account. More importantly, I knew my daughter. I had watched Fiona grow from a quiet
