Fiona’s POV

As I opened the doors to the council chamber, I found Lilian and Rex already seated among the elders, waiting for us to arrive. The moment Lilian saw me, her attention fixed on me, and I noticed the brief change in her expression before she quickly composed herself. I didn’t acknowledge it. Instead, I walked into the chamber with my head held high and made my way toward the center of the hall, where every member of the council could see me clearly.

Fiona’s POV “Lilian,” I answered when I realized Rex had decided not to tell the truth himself. The moment her name left my mouth, Lilian twisted in her seat, clearly caught off guard by the attention that suddenly shifted toward her. She glanced at Rex as though expecting him to intervene, but he remained silent. One of the elders turned toward Rex. “Prince Rex, is what the princess is saying true?” Rex looked at me for several seconds before finally answering. “Yes.” His voice carried through the chamber, leaving no room for misunderstanding. “The princess is telling the truth.” The elders exchanged glances, and the atmosphere immediately changed. Until that moment, they had been questioning whether Dorian and I had crossed a line while I was still engaged to Rex. Now the matter had taken an entirely different direction. I remained standing beside Dorian as the council began questioning Rex. “How long have you had feelings for Lilian?” Rex hesitated briefly before answer

Instead, I walked into the chamber with my head held high and made my way toward the center of the hall, where every member of the council could see me clearly.“My council of elders, good afternoon. I’m honored to be summoned by such a distinguished committee,” I said, allowing my voice to carry across the room. “You summoned me, and I am here to answer to that summons.”The elders exchanged glances. They had clearly expected a more subdued response from me, especially considering the nature of the summons. I knew they had been told something about Dorian and me, and I had no intention of standing before them like a guilty child waiting to be reprimanded. I had done nothing wrong, and

Fiona’s POVI took my phone with me as I hurried toward Father’s chambers, my fingers wrapped tightly around it as though someone might somehow reach into my pocket and take away what I had just discovered. My mind was moving faster than my feet, and for the first time since Sam’s death, I felt as though I was walking toward something instead of running away from it. I still couldn’t believe that my brother had hidden all of this where only the two of us could find it.When I reached Father’s study, I knocked before entering. Father was already there, and Inspector Dan stood beside his desk with the serious expression he always wore whenever something important was being discussed. The moment Father saw me, his expression softened slightly.“Fiona, come in. We have been waiting for you.”I stepped inside and closed the door behind me. “Father, I need you to see something.”The urgency in my voice made both of them look at me more carefully. I pulled out my phone and opened the secret

Alpha Ambrose’s POVInspector Dan had been secretly investigating things around the palace for days, and although I had not told anyone about the full extent of his investigation, I trusted him enough to know that he would not come to me without something worth reporting. There had been too many strange occurrences lately, too many things that refused to make sense when placed together, and the death of Sam had only made the uneasiness around the palace worse.I was in my study going through several reports when a quiet knock sounded against the door. I looked up from the documents in front of me and immediately knew who it was. Dan entered after I gave him permission, closing the door carefully behind him before approaching my desk.“Alpha,” he greeted in a low voice.I studied his face. “What have you found?”He placed a small file on my desk but didn’t immediately open it. “There are inconsistencies in some of the reports surrounding Prince Sam’s death. I have been following severa

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 75:INFORMING THE COUNCIL

Rex’s POVThe more I thought about what Lilian had informed me she witnessed between Fiona and Dorian, the more certain I became that I couldn’t afford to remain silent. If I wanted to have the upper hand, I needed to be the first person to bring the matter before the council. Once the elders heard my version of events, I could shape the conversation before anyone else had the opportunity to explain what was actually happening between them. The Lycan King was my stepbrother, and that connection gave me an advantage I intended to use carefully. I knew the council respected Dorian, but I also knew that they would not ignore a matter that could potentially affect the stability of the kingdom. If I presented this as a concern rather than jealousy, they would listen to me.I made my way toward the council chamber with my thoughts already arranged. I wasn’t going there to accuse Fiona of anything, not yet. I simply needed to plant the right questions in their minds and make them understand

  • REBIRTH OF THE OMEGA BRIDE    Chapter 74:TELLING REX WHAT EYES SAW

Lilian’s POV I barely slept that night. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Fiona walking beside Dorian through the palace, their hands joined as though they had forgotten the rest of the world existed. I kept trying to convince myself that it was nothing more than one innocent evening in the gardens, but the image refused to leave my mind. The way Dorian looked at her had not been innocent, and neither had the comfort Fiona seemed to feel in his presence. I knew I had to speak to Rex before his thoughts became consumed with everything else we had planned. I needed him focused, and more importantly, I needed him to understand that Fiona and Dorian becoming closer could destroy everything we had spent so much time building. If he continued believing that the future was already secured, he would never see the danger approaching until it was too late. The following morning, I made my way toward Rex’s chambers and knocked softly. When he opened the door and saw me standing there, surpr
