Falling to death

"A nobody like you wish to oppose us? You sure have a lot of guts in you."

The leader said with a smirk on her face then she playfully pushed Audrey's shoulder making the other party lean closer to the edge of the rooftop. Apparently, the only thing that was preventing Audrey from falling was the guardrail.

Audrey made a firm hold onto the support as she was well aware that one wrong move would definitely send her falling to her early demise.

The leader must have seen her concern and so she continued to prod her, just so as to mock her earlier display of bravery.

"Getting scared???? You should have thought about it before crossing us."

She said word by word while slightly pushing Audrey with her finger at the same time.

To prevent an unwanted accident, Audrey swatted the other party's hand away and start putting a safe distance between her and the railings.

But the leader did not want to be dismissed and she angrily pulled Audrey on her hand. Audrey also pushed her away and the exchange of pushing and pulling eventually led the two into a physical altercation.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

The other girls shouted in unison when their leader has accidentally pushed Audrey off the rooftop.

Everything happened so fast but when they saw Audrey's body losing her footing, it seemed that everything turned in slow motion.

Everyone watched in horror as Audrey's body slowly fell off the rooftop.

All they wanted was to do their last ritual, but they did not expect it to end up with a murder!

With that, Audrey ended up as a victim of a sorority ritual that had gone bad.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Audrey screamed at the top of her lungs until her voice turned hoarse.

As she slowly fell from her death, she tried to reminisce about how she lived her life. But soon, realization dawned at her that there was nothing, in particular, that was actually worth remembering about her miserable life.

Contrary to what she expected, the anticipated fall did not come even after waiting for a long time.

Well, at the very least, she still felt like falling but more than that, there was this feeling of something tugging at her.

For some reason, something felt off. So she shut her eyes tightly afraid to open them even once.

The expected pain that came after falling from a high place did not come, and in its place was the tugging sensation instead.

However, it eventually intensified which left Audrey wondering to herself.

"I was supposed to fall for my death, where was this tugging feeling coming from? I don't get it!"

Thinking that she had enough, the girl allowed her curiosity to win over her. She decided to open her eyes once and for all to check what was going on.

Yet just when she was about to open her eyes again, the weird tugging sensation suddenly came to a complete halt as though it was all just part of her imagination.

Audrey heaved a sigh of relief but before she could even recover from the previous tugging, something started to suck her!

It was as though she was placed next to a big vacuum that her very soul was being forced out of her body.

It was like something was trying to pull her straight out of her own body!

Audrey started to feel the pain that she could dare claim to be the most painful one that she ever felt in her entire life.

It was so excruciating that words were not enough for her to explain how she exactly felt that time.

The sucking continued and it became more forceful as time dragged on. It even reached the point where the pain alone was making the girl's head fuzzy.

She wanted to open her eyes desperately this time to see what was really happening but she soon found out that she could not move a finger, let alone open her eyes.

Also, her limbs felt heavy and the gnawing pain made her feel like crying but she did not have a tear to shed.

"Is this how it feels to die? It's really awful."

She said before losing consciousness.
