POV Amora 

“Can I help you, Ma’am?”

“No need, I’ll do it myself,” I replied without taking my eyes off what I was doing.

Well, I was baking a birthday cake. I know I could buy a nice, expensive cake. But I chose to make it with my own hands.

Today is my wedding anniversary with David, the man I love so dearly. The man who has become the sole center of my world.

We’ve been married for five years, and for five years I’ve been trying to be a good and perfect wife for him.

I willingly gave up my promising career. I willingly gave him my entire inheritance.

People say I’m foolish, but I don’t care. As long as David is by my side, as long as David doesn’t leave me, I’ll do anything he likes.

I used to be a spoiled child who couldn’t cook, but now I’ve become a wife who’s a great cook.

In fact, I’ve even learned the things that please him in bed.

I’m embarrassed to talk about it, but I want to satisfy him every time we have sex.

“I pray that you and Mr. David will always live happily and have a child soon.”

I stopped stirring the flour and looked at the maid who had been my friend all this time. Come to think of it, I’ve barely left the house these past five years.

“Amen, thank you. I also hope that a little angel will come into our marriage soon,” I replied hopefully.

“You and Mr. David are good people; God will surely grant your wish.”

My heart warmed at those words. Then, I went back to baking the cake.

Before I knew it, I’d been in the kitchen for nearly three hours, and now the cake was beautifully finished.

It was dark blue—David’s favorite color.

Then, I wrote a message and our hopes for the two of us on it.

I smiled at how beautiful it turned out.

“Perfect. He’s definitely going to love this,” I said, then put it in the fridge while waiting for him to come home.

Coming home? I really hope he comes home tonight. I’ve missed him so much—and I miss his caresses, too.

It’s been almost a week since I last saw him. Which, of course, means it’s also been a week since I’ve had sex with him. 

I paused when I heard my phone buzz. I’d been texting David all afternoon, hoping he’d return from his business trip tonight.

“I’m back from out of town. But I can’t come home—I have to stay at the office because there’s a problem.”

I stared at his message for a long time.

A problem? Is it that serious?

“Okay, don’t forget to take care of yourself, David. I love you.”

After replying to his message, I smiled slightly. An idea popped into my head.

Instead of waiting for him at home, why don’t I just go to his office?

I could also help him if he’s having trouble with the issue—considering that used to be my company, even though David’s in charge of everything now.

“I have to surprise him. Who knows, maybe we can catch up at the office too,” I said softly, letting my imagination run wild at the thought of showing up at the office without telling him.

Since we hadn’t seen each other in almost a week, I had to get ready. I decided to clean myself up.

I soaked in warm water and shaved the fine pubic hair that had started to grow back.

David really likes it when I’m clean down there, he said.

Then, I picked out some red lingerie—a color he says makes me look incredibly beautiful and daring.

I put it on without wearing panties or a bra.

I looked in the mirror, taking in my reflection.

Absolutely perfect.

Yes, I always watch what I eat and make sure my body stays perfect in David’s eyes.

I do whatever it takes to keep him admiring me.

“Perfect curves”—that’s what he always says.

I grabbed a light pink dress to cover my body, which was clad in this sexy lingerie.

There’s no way I could wear something like this to the office. People would think I’m crazy, even though it’s already nighttime.

I then grabbed my makeup—applying powder, eyeshadow, mascara, and finally lipstick.

I even chose a bright red shade, matching the color of my lingerie.

“He’s definitely going to love it,” I muttered, imagining David’s reaction when he saw me.

Besides, we hadn’t seen each other in a week.

“Would you like a ride, Ma’am?”

I turned my head as the driver offered to drive me to the office. “I’d like to drive myself.”

“All right, drive safely, Ma’am.”

I just nodded, then got into my car to head straight to meet David.

I drove at a moderate speed. I didn’t want to rush; there were still a few minutes left until midnight.

Every now and then I glanced at the cake beside me. A wide smile spread across my lips—I felt so happy. Before long, my car arrived at the company parking lot. 

I gazed at the tall building in front of me.

It was quiet. That’s right—the office was completely deserted; even the lights were off. Only one light was on, and that was at the very top—where David was.

I walked confidently, then looked around—there was no one there.]

“It’s unusual that there’s no security guard,” I muttered, then decided to keep walking toward David’s office.

Without a hint of fear, I entered the office building and stepped into the elevator, which was empty except for me.

I pressed the button for the top floor.

The elevator chimed and stopped right at the floor where David’s office was located. It was quiet; there was no one else around. Besides, who else would still be in the office at midnight like this?

Except for my husband, who’s the boss.

I walked slowly toward my husband’s office at the far end. Of all the rooms, only that one had the lights on.

I couldn’t wait to surprise him.

However, my footsteps halted when I heard a voice.

“Aahh... uuh... yeah, this feels so good.”

“Do you like this?”
