“T–That’s not true.”

“Don't deny it, whoever you are.”Shantel deadpanned.

“The Goddess brought me here for a reason. You can go ahead and tell everyone who I truly am; this doesn't change anything.”

Shantel stood up, and Ares mirrored her. “I hope you are ready for what you are so eager to dive into.” She said and shifted her gaze to Ares, they both left, leaving me to my thoughts.

I stood up, heading back to my room, as I turned towards the stares, a strong grip suddenly pulled me to the side, pushing me into an open door and shutting it immediately.

I turned with a racing heart, ready to pounce on whoever had pulled me in here. But my defense slipped, realizing it was Flynn.

“What is the meaning of this?” I asked, glaring hard at him.

“I am intrigued, Princess Faye. I mean I have always known you to be quiet.” He stepped forward, his fingers rising to touch my face.
