Chapter 18: Going Back Home

“Rick is in danger” she said to Damian.

“Come and sit down first” said Damian as he led her back to the bed.

He knelt down in front of her and held her hands.

“ I need to help him” said Marissa.

“ Okay. What do I need to do?” he asked her.

He was going to support her in everything from now on. That was the only thing he could do.

“ I need salt and a bowl of water and a knife” instructed Marissa.

“ Okay” said Damian. He wanted to say something about the knife but he stopped himself.

He went to the kitchen to get the things and went back to the room. She thanked him and took the items. She drew a circle with the salt then she sat down inside the circle.

She took the knife and cut her hands. She allowed the blood to drop on the floor. She closed her eyes and started chanting.

There was a breeze and the room suddenly became dark. The blood on the floor started glowing.
