POV: Theo

The entire pack was in chaos. I stood in the main hall, watching wolves rush past in panic and excitement. News of Xavier's True Alpha awakening had spread faster than wildfire. Everyone was talking about it, arguing about it, trying to understand what it meant.

"A True Alpha hasn't been seen in over a century," one elder muttered.

"It's impossible. He's not even Alpha born."

"But we all felt it. That power, it was real."

I pushed through the crowd, heading toward the Council chamber. Luna caught up with me, her face flushed from running.

"Theo, what's happening? I heard Xavier awakened as a True Alpha."

"He did. Right in front of everyone. When Damien tried to strike Thelma, something in Xavier just exploded. Power like I've never seen before."

Luna's eyes widened. "True Alphas are awakened through selfless sacrifice. Xavier was willing to die to protect her."

"Even though he doesn't remember loving her," I said. "His soul knows what his mind forgot."

  • REJECTED AND REBORN AS THE ALPHA KING'S LUNA    Chapter 65: The Trial of Champions - Part Two

POV: Theo The mate bond with Luna burned through me like fire, connecting us in ways I'd never imagined possible. Every hit she took, I felt. Every surge of her Alpha power, I shared. We were separate bodies but somehow one being, fighting together despite the distance between us. I clutched the arena barrier, my hands pressed against the invisible wall that kept me from reaching her. Through our bond, I could feel her exhaustion, her pain, her absolute determination not to surrender. "Come on, Luna," I whispered. "You can do this." In the arena, Luna circled the three vampire champions in her massive Alpha wolf form. Silver fur gleamed with both sweat and blood. She'd broken Malakai's neck minutes ago, a sickening crack that echoed across the arena. He lay twitching on the ground, regenerating but temporarily out of the fight. Seraphine hissed, her dhampir features fully revealed now. Her eyes glowed red, fangs extended, and dark magic swirled around her hands like living shado

  • REJECTED AND REBORN AS THE ALPHA KING'S LUNA    Chapter 64: The Trial of Champions - Part One

POV: Thelma The arena was a circle of ancient stones, each one carved with runes that glowed in the gathering darkness. Magic crackled in the air, creating an invisible barrier that sealed us inside. No one could interfere. No one could help. I stood at the edge with Theo, both of us forced to watch as others fought for our freedom. My hands were clenched so tight my nails drew blood from my palms. Xavier stood on the opposite side of the arena with Luna and Kael, all three preparing for battle. He looked across at me one last time, and even without our mate bond fully intact, I felt his determination. Then the vampire champions entered. They moved with theatrical grace, like performers taking a stage they'd owned for centuries. Malakai came first, the massive warrior vampire. Scars covered his arms and face, each one a trophy from battles won. He grinned, showing fangs that gleamed in the torchlight. Seraphine followed, the dhampir witch. She was beautiful in a terrifying way,

POV: Xavier Ravencrest smiled, showing fangs. "Meet your opponents, wolves. Malakai, six hundred years of battlefield experience. Seraphine, dhampir witch who's killed more wolves than you've met in your lifetime. And The Silent One, who hasn't spoken in three centuries. The last time he fought wolves, forty-seven died. Good luck." He laughed and retreated with his champions. "We're going to die," Luna said quietly beside me. "Maybe," I replied. "But we'll die fighting for what's right. That counts for something." The Oracle appeared, gesturing for us to follow her. "Come. I have much to teach you and very little time to do it." +++++++ The training was brutal. The Oracle took us to a secluded clearing and immediately began drilling ancient vampire killing techniques. Vampires were faster than wolves, stronger than humans, and could manipulate shadows and blood magic. "Their weakness is their arrogance," the Oracle said. "They've lived so long, they underestimate their opponen

POV: Xavier The morning sun rose over the Silver Moon pack, but it felt like a death sentence counting down. I stood in the Council chamber, surrounded by arguing voices, everyone shouting over each other about who should fight the vampires. My head pounded from lack of sleep, but my decision was already made. "I volunteer as champion," I said loudly, cutting through the chaos. The room fell silent. Everyone turned to stare at me. "Absolutely not," Alpha Celeste said immediately. "You're our only True Alpha. Losing you would be catastrophic for all wolf packs, not just Silver Moon." "Then the Council should have thought about that before scheduling Thelma's execution," I replied. "You were willing to kill her yesterday. Now others might die saving her. I'm volunteering to be one of them." Thorne stood, his face red with anger. "This is exactly why True Alphas are dangerous. You put individual lives above the greater good." "No, I put justice above politics. There's a difference

"No one is surrendering anyone," Celeste said firmly. "But we need time to consider options." Ravencrest pulled a pocket watch from his coat, checking it with casual elegance. "Time is a luxury I'm disinclined to grant. You have one hour to decide. Surrender the twins, or we attack. Every wolf here will die, and I'll take the twins anyway. At least this way, the rest of you survive." He turned and walked back to his army, his silver hair catching moonlight like a banner. The Council exploded into argument. Thorne advocated loudly for surrender. Damien remained silent, his expression calculating. I could see him weighing options, considering angles. If the vampires took Thelma, his political rival Xavier would be devastated. The True Alpha might even leave the pack in grief. Damien saw opportunity in disaster. Alpha Vera argued against surrender on principle. Marcus Grey pointed out they had no army capable of defeating vampires. Only Celeste seemed to be thinking beyond the immedi

  • REJECTED AND REBORN AS THE ALPHA KING'S LUNA    Chapter 60: The Vampire Lord's Claim

POV: LunaThe vampire army was a nightmare made of flesh. I stood on the walls of Silver Moon pack territory, watching them assemble in the darkness beyond our borders. Hundreds of them, pale and beautiful and deadly. They moved with inhuman grace, their red eyes glowing in the moonlight like demons from ancient stories. At their center stood their leader, and he was the most terrifying of all. Lord Erebus Ravencrest looked like a fallen angel. Silver hair fell past his shoulders, contrasting sharply with blood red eyes. He wore elegant black clothing that belonged in a palace, not a battlefield. But the power radiating from him made every wolf present instinctively step back.Eight hundred years old, the whispers said. Ancient beyond measure, cruel beyond imagination."They're going to attack," Sage said beside me, her hand on her sword hilt. "We should prepare defenses.""Defenses won't help," I replied quietly. "There are too many of them, and they're too strong. If they attack, we
