View MoreTHELMA’s POV
The sounds of my heels tapping the floor as I walked gracefully into the pack’s healing room, a bright smile on my face while waving to the other people I met on the way.
I got to the room, pushing open the door to reveal him, Neon, my fiancé. He was standing right next to the window staring outside.
He seemed to sense my presence as he turned back facing me, “Thelma.” His soft voice called out as he walked towards me.
I embraced him getting to him, my hands wrapped tightly on his waist, “I’ve missed you so much.” I pout as he pecked me on my lips pulling away from me.
“Have a seat.” He guide me to sit on the bed, my eyes glanced around the room then back to his injured arm as I rubbed on it.
I’m Thelma, the princess of the Tee pack, one of the largest and most feared pack in the wolf world, being the first daughter of the pack, I shouldered a large responsibility.
I have a younger sister, Yvonne and my fiancé is the strongest general of the pack. To everyone, finding their mate after turning 18 is normal but not for me.
I couldn’t find my mate till I turned 23 and that was why father decided to bethrone me to Neon just after passing the pack to him as my alpha.
Over the years, I’ve always wanted to officially become his Luna but I had to wait until this moment, the moment where our pack would become the strongest.
I jolted back to reality when he tapped me, “Ohh sorry, what were you saying?” I asked, he gently laughed before flickering my forehead with his finger.
“How could you be so absentminded?” I shrugged at his question, even though we were both engaged, I have always had a soft spot for him since we were young.
“Maybe thinking about how I’ll officially become your Luna tonight.”
He placed his hands on my laps, “I promise to make it the biggest ceremony for you, you will be the most envious Luna existed in history.”
I was about answering when I received a phone call, picking it up, I realized it was dad, “Dad.”
“The neighboring pack next to us need a healer Thelma, and it’s very urgent, I can only trust you with this task so you should leave with two healers to help.”
He sounded urgent and didn’t allow me to speak, “But dad, the ceremony tonight…”
“You will make it just in time for the ceremony if you hurry up and leave now.” He interrupted me and dropped the call before I could say anything more, even though I was hesitant, I still had to leave.
I stared at Neon, “I understand, I will wait for you to arrive.” He pecked my forehead before I stood up, with one last look at him, I hurried outside into the shadows of a new mission.

I stared at the huge pack gate in front of me booming with light, my hand was injured but not so much, the moon light shone down on me.
The beautiful decorations, the smiles, the laughter and shouting, no one seem to notice it wasn’t complete.
I slowly walked in, my steps slow but deliberate towards the pack’s garden, my sadness and pain overcome with happiness.
He decorated all this for me, just as I got to the pack’s garden, I could hear people cheering and staring at something.
Moving closer, a shocking scene left my mouth hanging. Yvonne was standing in front of Neon with him kneeling down holding the Luna crown.
It was as though he was pledging his loyalty to her, what he was supposed to do to me, “What do you guys think you are doing?” I bolted, my voice ringing through the crowd.
The ones lousy crowd became quiet, everyone giving space to stare at me properly. Yvonne face lit with horror as if she had just seen a ghost.
“Why are you back? You were never supposed to be back!” She shouted, her eyes shaking in fear, I was confused.
Initially, while on our way back from the neighboring pack, we encountered a group of rogue wolves making it almost impossible to survive.
But just when I thought I’ll die, the second healer with me healed me with all her strength resulting to her death while she provided cover for me giving me enough time to escape back.
“What do you mean?”
My injured arm was hurting, it was hard for me not to have healed by now but I was less bothered by it, all I wanted now was an answer.
“Thelma, let me explain.” Neon tried calling me down but it wasn’t working, I saw it, the deception. What was happening.
I pointed at him, “Don’t tell him it’s what I’m thinking.” My voice cracked unable to believe my thought as I tried controlling my tears.
Yvonne stepped forward before he could speak, “Yes. It’s exactly whatever you are thinking, I’m tired of having to pretend over and over again just to make peace be.”
Was this the same sister I thrived for all this years, the same sister I grew up with thinking she was my companion, “Yvonne!” My voice was breaking.
“What!”
“Dad just tell her the truth, this is starting to get on my nerves.” She hissed standing next to Neon as she kissed him.
My eyes was red from anger as I launched forward to attack them but was pushed backward by a huge wave, it was Neon.
I crashed on the wall weakened, my bones crushed and I couldn’t stand up, “Ouch!” That was wrong. I wasn’t supposed to be in this much pain.
Yvonne stepped forward, “All my life, I have always been your shadow, I always felt second to none, no one sees my presence anytime you are around, why?”
But that wasn’t true, I had done everything just to make mom and dad see me, she was the one always pampered while I’m trained the hardest way.
“How does it feel getting your loved one taken away from you?” I stared into her eyes, it held no form of love, it was deep resentment and hatred, something I’ve never seen in her before.
“Why? I loved you, you are my sister, my only companion.” I opened my mouth to ask but I felt my whole body paralyzing.
She smiled, “I hated your gut and everything about you, I wish you could just die…” She paused, crouched to my size and lean closer to my ear, “The poison must have start acting up, dad personally poisoned you himself.”
That was when it all started making sense, the urgent mission, the attack, the not expecting me to be back.
I expected just one person from the pack to at least stand up for me but they all stared. Some pitifully, some happy while some held pain in their eyes.
I looked up at the faces of the people I once regard to as family, my tears rolling down my cheeks, my eyes held pain, betrayal, sorrows but I still wanted something else.
“Mom!” I called softly, she stared away unable to look at me, that wasn’t it, I needed answers, why? Why did they do this? Why will they be wicked enough to kill their own daughter? Why?
As my eyes close, I prayed earnestly looking at the moon above, “Moon goddess, if you can hear me, please give me a second chance to make it all right, to
get my revenge and change my fate.”
Then darkness!
POV: Marcus Blackwood Thirty years. Thirty years, two months, and seventeen days since I'd last seen the sky. Now I was leading fifty-three prisoners through collapsing corridors toward freedom I wasn't sure any of us would survive to see. "Keep moving!" I shouted over the alarm. "Stay together!" Riley clung to my arm, her eyes wide with terror. My daughter. Sixteen years old and she'd never known anything but cells and experiments and pain. She was trembling so hard I could feel it through my entire body. "Dad, it's too loud," she whimpered. "Too many people. Too much space." "I know, baby. I know. But we have to keep going." Behind us, the other prisoners struggled forward. Some were strong enough to run. Others leaned on those with more strength. A few had to be carried. An older witch named Helena stumbled, catching herself on the wall. "I can't. I'm too old, too weak. Leave me." "No one gets left behind," I said firmly, helping her up. "You've survived this long. Don't
POV: Luna He helped me stand. My legs nearly buckled, but his arm around my waist kept me upright. Together, we moved toward the fight. "Thelma!" I called out. "Xavier! Fall back!" They glanced at me, confused, but they trusted me. They disengaged from Vex, creating space. Vex stood in the center of the corridor, breathing hard, black veins spreading further across her skin. She was losing control of her own body. "Stay back!" she screamed, but it wasn't a threat. It was fear. "I can't control it anymore! I don't know what I'll do!" "I know what you are," I said, walking toward her slowly. "You're terrified. You did this to protect humanity, to make yourself strong enough. And now you're not human anymore. Now you're the very thing you feared." "I did what I had to do!" Vex's voice cracked. "Someone had to be strong enough! Someone had to stand against all of you!" "And it's killing you," I said gently. "I can see it. The genetics are tearing you apart from the inside
POV: Luna Everything hurts. That was the first thing I became aware of as consciousness flickered in and out like a dying candle. Pain everywhere, deep in my bones, in my blood, in the empty space where my wolf should be. I could hear fighting. Shouting. The clash of bodies against concrete. But it all sounded distant, like I was underwater. Someone was carrying me. Marcus, I thought. The older wolf who'd been kind to me when we first met. His arms were gentle despite his urgency. "Stay with us," he murmured. "Just a little longer." But I was so tired. So empty. The mate bond with Theo was there, a golden thread connecting us, but it was fraying. I could feel it unraveling strand by strand, my life slipping away taking the bond with it. I should fight harder. I knew that. But without my wolf, I was just human. And humans weren't meant to survive what they'd done to me. Through the haze, I saw flashes of the battle. Xavier, magnificent even weakened, fighting with the
POV: Theo The explosion that disabled the locks felt like a gift from the gods. I slammed my shoulder into the cell door the moment I felt it give, bursting into the corridor to find complete chaos. Guards shouted orders that no one could hear over the alarms. Prisoners emerged from cells like ghosts rising from graves, some running, some fighting, some just standing there as if they'd forgotten what freedom looked like. "Theo!" Xavier's voice cut through the noise. I spun to see my brother-in-law leading a group of three other Alphas, all of them wearing collars but moving with purpose. Even weakened, Xavier radiated that True Alpha energy that made others want to follow. "Where's Thelma?" I demanded. "Above us. D-Block. I can feel her through the mate bond, it's faint but it's there." Xavier grabbed my arm. "And Luna?" Pain lanced through my chest at her name. "I don't know. I can feel her through the bond, but it's wrong. Something's wrong with her." The twin bond with Thel
