"Getting married was never part of the plan! I was sent here to give you a child, not to marry you, Alpha!" I said with a bold look on my face, trying to hide the pain and fear that still lingered within me.

Deep down, I didn't want him to see me as weak. I longed for him to recognize that there was more to me than just a normal human, as he had always labelled me to be.

However, his reaction was not what I had hoped for. He leaned in, his face close to mine, and his piercing eyes locked onto mine, probing my innermost thoughts.

"Did you just disobey the Alpha's orders?" he questioned sternly, not letting go of his intense gaze.
