Phoenix's scream cut through the night like a blade. I bolted from bed and crashed through his door to find him sitting up and drenched in sweat.

"Phoenix." I sat on the edge of his bed. "Another nightmare?"

"It was not a nightmare." His voice trembled. "The glowing lady came again. She keeps saying darkness is coming."
