I let out a shaky breath as I exited the building. My eyes caught sight of my outfit in the glass doors and I resisted the urge to smoothen the invisible crease in my white dress because I knew he was watching. I could feel his eyes on me without seeing him.

After I walked out on Davian last night, I thought he would end our agreement because someone like him would have limits and it was the second time I walked out on him but it wasn't my fault. He needed to know how to keep his unsolicited opinions to himself.

I couldn't hide my surprise when I received a text before I even got into my car to get ready to meet his parents. Just like the rumours, he didn't waste time in getting things done.
