Kelly frowned as she looked at her watch for the umpteenth time and tried not to sigh but her patience was getting thin and her brows drew together in irritation,

Her guest was late but there was nothing she do about it. She had received a tip-off on Ria’s plan for the Fashion Gala and without even checking the information, she came.

The Williams Group had never participated in the competition before instead they simply acquired the winning designs, which had always been from Nathan’s company by using Ria’s designs, since the past three years.

But now Ria wanted to involve Williams Group directly, thereby breaking the pattern. It meant that she had her own game plan and Kelly wanted to know exactly what it was. And that was why she came running after receiving the tip-off.

The bell over the café door gave a soft chime.

“Sorry I’m late,” a voice said in a low tone. “Had to make sure I wasn’t followed”

Kelly looked up.
