Family morning prayer commenced with the normal routine section of praises from the last of the five children of Mr Moss, who is a well-known and devout follower of God. The morning prayer was quite different from other days as the day was the birthday of the first fruit of the family. Shola was born eleven (11) months after the union of Mr Moss and his soulmate Mrs Josephine. Faces were glowing, smiles were evidence of the Joy in the hearts of the members of the Family. No sooner than later the praise section ended when Mr Moss, a pious man opens the scriptures to dish out as usual the words of God to the Family. Mr Moss is well known in his church as a man of records. He is fondly called by youths Paul the writer while some follow men call him secretary to Rome. The principal told the senior prefect. It has been reported that a student was given a huge blow before night prep in hostel C2. The victim is lying on the floor with a huge wound and blood rushing out. All the students were at the refectory eating when the event happened. The principal had also given instructions that the case is suspended till the victim will be able to gosh out words before further actions will be taken. A few minutes later, the boy had been taken to hospital, while investigations were still on when the classmates of Daniel reported to the senior prefect that Daniel was not around till the end of the meal. Therefore, much scrutiny should be done on his way about after he had left. The next day, Daniel had already been summoned before the whole school.

(At the hospital)The school management has discussed Daniel’s health attention, Daniel was then sent to the same room with the victim so that the school matron won’t be running in between two rooms, though el’s case won’t take the whole day as it had been immediately attended to and then he had also been put on a drip due to probability of blood loss and strength. Daniel after weeks was no more referred to as a new student. Not even after he had seen and passed through a lot of experiences. It is now the week after which there will be a midterm break. Shola his brother had always not been too close to him after the incident of the first week. Shola had told him to be strong or else leave the school. Daniel himself has seen almost all he thought were lies whenever Shola talks about seminary. Shola had told him months ago before he entered the school that there had been cases of witchcraft activities and some scary moments like that seen in horror movies. Daniel never accepted such words citing them as superstitions and misconceptions caused by fear and anxiety.
